    We had a truly wonderful evening, the food was delicious and the service was outstanding. Best tuna tartare we've ever had! The cocktails were to die for too. An amazing interior, full of colour and textures, overall a 10/10 experience.

    We had a fabulous evening in lylas for my daughters 18th birthday meal. From the moment we walked in the door we were greeted with a lovely welcome by the waitress ( I didnt get her name sry ) but you made our night extra special with your fabulous manner & you went above & beyond to make my daughter really happy. The food was amazing cooked to perfection, we had the steak 😋, I had tirmisu for dessert in which I could not finish as I was so full & the waitress offered to let me take the rest of it home ,my daughter had crème bru which was also delicious. We will definitely return to this establishment i would highly recommend it & it was worth every penny . Again thanks so much to the lovely lady that looked after us you truly are a asset to Lylas . We were there 30/09/26

    We were very excited to eat at Lyla’s during our stay in Kilkenny because it had a 4.9 rating and the menu looked great. The restaurant itself was beautiful. We felt very rushed to order. We even had two different people come over to get us to order quickly so we couldn’t enjoy our cocktails. It was so rushed, we didn’t order wine with our meal which we expected to do. My scallops — which is always my favorite thing to eat — were lukewarm and not seared well. My husband’s miso cod was hot and delicious. We asked for my tuna tartare dish to be served first and it came out with our other food. It was unappealing and looked like pate. As people who eat fish and seafood all the time, this was not cool.

    My new favourite restaurant in Kilkenny. The whole night was an amazing experience. From arrival to the end. They go all out. I had the monkfish and it was incredible. Really nice cocktails and the lemon tart dessert' was amazing too. Can’t wait to go back and try it all!

    We had dinner on a Saturday evening. Everything was perfect. Beautiful decor, amazing food, nice atmosphere and very friendly staff. We would highly recommend. Only small issue we noted is that the menu had been updated so the actual menu was different to the menu on the website. My wife is vegetarian and had been looking forward to the Celeriac dish shown on the website menu so it was disappointing to see it wasn't an option, however the vegitarian risotto dish on the new menu was excellent so all's well that ends well 😀
