Food, friends, drinks and vibes! Stopped by @lostandfoundmidtown and it was packed, wall to wall people, loud energy, and definitely not a low-key dinner spot. We tried a few of the entrées: the fried combo (3 wings and 2 thighs), fried salmon, and the Cajun pasta, fully loaded with chicken, sausage, shrimp, and crawfish, a lot of good stuff in one bowl. Most entrees come with collard greens and mac and cheese, but they also have other sides like garlic mashed potatoes and sauteed green beans. The cocktails were tasty and fit the overall vibe. The menu had a few funny drinks names that stood out like the Charlie Sheen’s Nightcap that included a sugar baggie on the side. They also have hookah on the patio, which adds to the overall scene and keeps the crowd outside just as busy as inside. _______________ #food #cocktails #houston #htx #hookah

A fun concept. Limited parking. Patio is fun but loud. Service was incredibly slow - like over an hour between being seated and getting our food! Cocktail menu was misprinted, so we had to look up cocktails in our website! Didn’t appreciate plastic silverware. Really 3.8 star place

It took 20 minutes for anyone to greet our table or bring water. My friend finally went inside to find a manager, who started our drinks but made a point of saying he wasn't our server and would hand us off. We ordered five meals. Only the pancakes and chicken came out hot. The salmon and collards weren't even warm, and the grits were barely there. My mimosa arrived in a cognac glass because they'd "run out of glasses," and it wasn't what I ordered anyway. To his credit, the manager brought a proper glass and a fresh drink, which I appreciated.

Unfortunately, Lost & Found did not live up to the hype. We were excited to celebrate my sister’s 30th birthday here, but the experience got off to a disappointing start. After being seated and receiving water promptly, we waited 20–25 minutes before anyone returned. When we asked someone to locate our server, we were told, “I can’t find her.” That same employee eventually took our order, making the process a 30+ minute ordeal. We were then told they were out of champagne, margaritas, vodka, and lamb chops. When we questioned this, we were told they typically run out of food and drinks because Sunday is their busiest day. For a brunch establishment, running out of so many popular items is unacceptable. My sister had her heart set on the lamb chops, so she ended up not eating. I had the seafood omelette, which was good, but the Cajun potatoes were average at best. Our friend’s French toast seemed to be good as well. Despite this, we tried to make the best of the experience and ordered whiskey sours. Instead, we received shot-sized portions. When we clarified that we wanted the actual cocktails, our server acknowledged the mistake but left the shots on the table without explaining whether they would be replaced or charged. We assumed they would be removed from the bill, but when we questioned the charges, she responded, “Well, you all drank the shots.” We asked to speak with the manager and explained both the drink situation and the overall service issues. Unfortunately, we were met with a blank stare and no meaningful effort to acknowledge or resolve our concerns. We paid the bill, but the lack of accountability was the final straw. We will not be returning. To be fair, our server (I believe her name was Kaylee) seemed to be doing the best she could under the circumstances, and I don’t want this review to reflect poorly on her personally. However, management needs to address these operational and service issues. The only real positive was the music.

Waitress seemed to be a little slow. She acted like she didn’t know what was going on. We had a party of 8 and she didn’t want us seated like the hostess sat us in 2 tables so she had us to squeeze in. She was very knowledgeable about the products sold or what was available as we had to change drink orders because all of of sudden this and that was not available. We came pretty early however many food items were apparently sold out we asked why was there a big event held there and she said no night before was regular so this establishment needs to order food accordingly. Employees brought in eggs in a big container and eggs were splashing out on the concrete floor as they rolled it on a cart from somewhere on the side of the building into the restaurant. The food was just Ok even though we have visited this restaurant each time we come to Houston. Waitress was very non chalunt and didn’t seemed prepared to be at work. Appeared to be either tired or under influence imo. My family will not return to this restaurant again. I think it has run its course due to the bad service we received.

The ambience was nice but that was it. Upon sitting down we were informed there was no lamb chops, no bacon and the biscuits were no longer on the menu. We left.

I knew that this place was about the vibes. So I took friends here to enjoy the happy hour before a concert. I didn’t expect much but good music and maybe good drinks. I got the music! And very friendly and nice staff! But the food-presentation and quality was not good. Plastic everything: forks, and cups. The wing flavor sent separately, although the server offered to toss them. The drinks were small and not tasty. It was disappointing. Never again

The food and the service were very good. The only negative is the lack of any silverware in the restaurant. Only plastic knives and forks.
