My wife and I had dinner at Lionfish. We shared the octopus, delicious. Karen has one of the special sushi rolls and I had snapper. Both dishes were well prepared and very tasty. The prices were what you’d expect for an Atlantic Ave. restaurant. Service was great, not rushed at all

We had a very nice Happy Hour experience at their outside tables. Excellent food, great cocktails and our server Bryce was outstanding. The caprese salad and shrimp appetizer were fantastic. Highly recommend!

Great evening with great food and service. Very loud outside because of band playing next door couldn’t hear yourself think never mind conversing with your group. We asked and were seated just inside the door which was much better - we easily heard each other speaking. Ask to be seated deep inside restaurant for lowest noise levels.

Went here with high expectations but mostly disappointed. Menu listed that my scallops order would include a salad. Never came. Order for lobster roll came with cold lobster (fine) but a cold roll (not fine). At these price levels I expected a better experience.

Beautiful room. Some interesting dishes. Good but not outstanding food. Very friendly service. A nice night out overall but with tip my dinner for 3 ended up being close to $500 Canadian. For that I would’ve had a far superior meal most places.

I was with my in-laws in a party of 7 who are quite the difficult bunch. Our waitress Kiki was un-phased and incredibly patient and gracious. The food was great and the ambiance of the restaurant was very nice. My husband and I will absolutely be back… alone haha. Big thanks to the staff for their professionalism and lovely service.

What a spectacular place! Bryce was one the best server I’ve ever experienced in dining- fine dining or otherwise. He walked us through the menu in detail and his recommendations were spot on. Food was excellent and we will certainly return.

We had to ask for a change of tables because all the servers passed our table as well as everyone using the bathroom. Also,the barrel roof amplified the noise of the filled restaurant. Once we were moved to a banquette booth on the side wall we were much more comfortable and the noise level was much better. So where you sit will make a big difference in this restaurant. For dinner, we shared two small dishes, the wagyu beef strips on a hot rock, which was delicious but sparse, and the mini lobster roll, which was interesting but not something I’d order again. We also shared the dry rubbed chicken over kale, which was very good. Price wise, Lionfish is in the high price range of most decent restaurants on Atlantic Avenue, and the three dishes without drinks were just under $100. The service however was excellent and the hostesses accommodated our request to move without the attitude that such a challenge could have engendered. This was our first meal at Lionfish, and we’ll go back to try some other menu items.

The restaurant is very nice and very busy. The waiter was very good. The food is average, the noise level is too high to have a normal conversation, and the restaurant is expensive - $250 before tip for four people - one drink each which included two beers and both couples shared a salad. The place is too pricey for what it is.

Loved every minute. The service was amazing and we loved everything we ordered: octopus appetizer, tuna pizza, fried LionFish, Berzerk sushi roll and a side of asparagus. We would definitely visit again. Oh and the cocktails were delicious too. Well prepared all around.

We felt ripped off. The salads are huge but waiter didn’t tell us and 5 of us ordered salads. Each salad could have served 2-3 people and came with serving spoon. Same with desserts. Why let us order a dessert that 3 people can share. Waiter disappeared for a bit and forgot a glass of wine. After a long wait, our main courses came out but no one had removed our gargantuan salads. All jumbled and not great. We had to ask another server to get our waiter to order more wine. Over all bad!

The food is excellent and expertly prepared and plated. We loved the mushroom appetizer. They bring marinated mushrooms and a hot rock. You quickly cook the mushroom on the rock. It was delicious. I had the swordfish and my wife had the salmon. We had the churro ice cream sandwich for dessert and it is worth the calories! Our server was friendly and attentive.

The food was amazing! Lobster rolls especially & key lime bomb was delicious. The noise level was a bit much for us the rest wasn’t full yet and we had difficulty hearing at our own cubby table Alison was a great waitress, she knew the food well and took great care to be sure we were having a great dinner.
