   Delicious food. The Caprese Burratta appetizer, Pappardelle porcini & tartufo, grilled asparagus, and Sangiovese wine were wonderful. Salvatore (the manager, I believe) was circulating and affable, sharing more about where he is from in Italy. Prompt service. I would give 5 stars but my waiter seemed overly hurried although only a few other tables were occupied, and this detracted from an otherwise very pleasant evening. Nevertheless I already recommended Like Mike to a Grove native who hadn’t been there yet.

   Tiramisu was perfect, home-made style. Wines are excellent. I was expecting high quality food based on the website pictures and the uniqueness of their menu but all the other food (appetizers and pasta) was rather average. Warm appetizers looked incredible but were cold. Despite the music was not loud at all (thankfully), the noise level made it hard to understand each other since everyone was talking very very loud in that tiny space. Service was outstanding, very attentive (water refill, empty plate cleanup etc) and wasn’t intrusive at all.

   The people are so nice and very attentive and the food is so delicious!! We came here for our last date night of 2022 and it was amazing. I had the Cacio e Pepe and my fiancé had a special of filet mignon with a red wine reduction sauce. He loved it so much he asked me to learn how to make red wine reduction at home lol

   Service was lovely. When sitting down the server pulls the table out for you and gently scooches it back to tuck you in. The ceasar salad was well seasoned, calamari tasty (and a huge portion!), Ragu pasta was fantastic, and we also ordered the fish special which had perfectly crispy skin. Take a date, your mom, your moms date, lovely.
