Hostess was nice upon arrival, placed the order for apps and main course. Received apps and never received the main course. Saw it on my bill, so waited for the chef to confirm that food was never prepared, nor was it consumed. Service was very slow for a week day evening and restaurant wasn’t busy.

No gluten free options as such Restaurant is aware of my daughters requirement fir gluten free as she has coeliac disease but we felt no effort was made to accommodate apart from Offering rice noodles Very disappointing attitude I think they just thought can’t be bothered but we are paying for an Evenings meal to suit all Our family - it is not hard to cook a duck breast gluten free If it is tricky then probably the chef needs more training Probs my not the best decision we have it a second chance but should not have I’m not sure the hotel is really geared up for real Intolerances

Went at Lao for dinner. Celebrating our honeymoon. Decided to have the Taste of Saigon (tasting menu) but it was a big disappointment!! Never order this again. They give 1 pc each for the appetizer, main was okay and the dessert was the worse 🤢 Never again!!!

The food was nice but not exceptional. We were seated inside and the atmhosphere was a bit bare, we were surrounded by candelabra's but the candles not lighted. We felt we were a bit in a lost corner of the place with slow service. So not a bad night but also not one to remember

Stayed at the Waldorf Astoria for a few nights so was convenient to eat here on our first evening. Food was fresh and tasty. Sashimi was so good to start with that we ordered a second. Red Thai chicken, beef tenderloin in black bean with side orders of broccoli, pak Choi and mixed vegetables. Definitely recommended.

To me, the barometer of a great Viet restaurant is their pho, bun cha and spring rolls. Everything we ordered was incredible except the pho and bun cha - both of which were the worst I've ever had. The disappointing broth of the pho was compensated wastefully by using wagyu beef when all you want is a comforting, slow boiled, authentic broth. Otherwise, all other food items were above and beyond. The crepes were spectacular, unlike anything I've had before. The service was attentive but no intrusive. Overall, I would go back, but would follow their advice on the showstopper dishes.
