My husband was too ill to eat most of his steak but said it was best he’d ever had. My chicken dish was fantastic.

Eccellent from start to finish. Food very good, as wss the service. Wat partners birthday and they presented us with complimentary glass of champagnr and birthday cake. Would heartily recommend.

A nice dining area either in the main room or the conservatory. The food is excellent and well served. Attention to detail is evident. Service ensures satisfaction. It is friendly and very professional. There was a large group eating in the restaurant but this did not affect the service to us or the quality of the meal. Top notch.

Food was , on the whole, fine and reasonably priced with a good range of wines. The staff were very pleasant, helpful and efficient. Fine!

Lovely hotel with great food. Our only criticism was very early finish for the restaurant. The staff were laying up for breakfast by 9oclock and we had our bookin at 8oclock. This made up feel uncomfortable.

Sat at a window table overlooking the sea, lovely setting. Varied menu, prompt courteous service and very reasonably priced. Good selection of wines. Recommend and will be going back.

Lovely to sit on a table to look out at the sea. First waiter very nice, second a bit distant. Food ordered quite promptly. Ordered melon to start which was nice and fresh. I ordered salmon and my mum ordered pork. The salmon was decent size, a little over cooked but rather that than under if I’m honest. Vegetables didn’t really compliment the fish dish, cauliflower, carrots and parsnips, all nicely cooked but the same veg that was on my mums pork dish, I wouldn’t really couple parsnips with salmon. Mum said the pork was very tender and nice. Cheese board for third course, quite simple but pleasant, a little bowel of dry fruit and nuts, I would say it would be better to fill this with a chutney of some sort to accompany the cheese and crackers. Overall a very pleasant meal and would eat here again.
