    Lady Bird is a hidden gem with eclectic food and lively music. The indoor/outdoor aesthetic brings a contemporary vibe with views of the city and monuments. The DJ spun house music that kept the energy up. We had a great time and you should give it a try!

    I came to ladybird with a group of high school friends expecting to show them a good time, which was not the case. I’ve been a patron before and had a phenomenal experience in the past. When we arrived on Friday, we were sat at a table too small for our party and told a chair would be coming. After waiting 20 minutes, a chair arrived but only to be taken by another party, making us ask for another. In the 45 minutes we were there we did not receive waters. We had our orders taken but never received anything. It was clear a very expensive table was there and were clearly given priority. I saw managers roaming around trying to assist but the obvious difference in service quality has left a bad taste in my mouth. I commend the young lady that was our server as she was clearly working very hard under tough conditions. Either the place needed to be closed for that party for the night or have more staff to adequately server ALL customers. I would not recommend this place to anyone.

    The food and some of the service was absolutely phenomenal. Absolutely beautiful space. I would plan extra time for your visit, as the server forgot our drinks several times and after two hours we decided to just skip them, but the food and vibes were great!!

    It was recommended to me that I make a reservation so I did. On I arrival learned that I was already seated.. guess my reservation was given away so things started off a little disorganized. The venue nicely decorated.

    I'll start by saying that I sincerely hope that our experience was on an "off" night. We were very excited about this spot and had heard good feedback from friends. Since we were going out on a weekend, we made a reservation for an outdoor table in advance. When we showed up at our reservation time, we were told that there were no outdoor tables available. Despite this, our server was attentive and assured us he'd move us to an outdoor table once it became available. After being seated, we watched several outdoor tables vacate but - due to staffing and lack of a host - those tables were grabbed up on what appeared to be a first come, first served basis. We were also put off by the brightness of the lights in the space, which was glaring amidst a nearly pitch dark sky at 9pm. We ordered a round of cocktails and our server brought us a couple of glasses of sparkling rose 15ish minutes later to apologize for a "delay" at the bar. The gesture was thoughtful; however, the wine was totally flat and unpalatable. When our cocktails arrived, one tasted like Drano. Yes, I'm referring to the clog-busting cleaning product. The other was a minor improvement from the chemical profile of the first. We walked over to the server's station, paid for our drinks and went elsewhere. The server apologized profusely and was very genuine in his remorse over our negative experience which we appreciated. I suspect that most of the factors that impacted us were outside his control regardless. The space is beautiful and the menu read nicely so I hope it can meet its potential again. Until then, we'll seek out our libations elsewhere.

    Drink menu was changed as of July. What you see on their website is not all available in person. Only one bartender working and he seemed a little overwhelmed. Someone at our table ordered a beer, but the beer didn’t taste the same (or look the same color wise) as what it should be. It’s okay, still enjoyable. But when our server came back, and we brought it up to him, he swore he brought the right one and brought us a can that he claimed is what he poured in the glass for us earlier. Funny thing is, once he left, and we open the can, and poured it in a different clean glass, again, it wasn’t the same color or the taste as the first beer we had… simply put, the server likely got us a different beer first round. Not a big deal but his way of handling it wasn’t very professional. Overall, if you want a roof top and don’t care much about anything else, this place can work for you. If you want creative cocktail and nice ambiance, there are better options out there.

    I am so glad I went to Lady Bird, despite seeing bad reviews about the service. The hostess, Rochelle, was incredibly helpful! I had reserved an outdoor table and asked Rochelle to move us indoors because it was humid out, and she was so sweet and accommodating. She set up a great space inside for my group. Overall, great rooftop, great ambiance, great service!

    Went to Lady Bird for my husband's birthday drinks and we had an amazing experience! There were some mixed reviews on here and I'm SO glad I didn't let those reviews dissuade us from going. It's clear that the management and staff are trying to address past concerns/complains and when we were there, they worked very hard to ensure everyone had a fantastic time. Everyone really went out of their way - the hostess helped us find a table that was out of the direct sun so we'd be more comfortable but also opened up the doors for us so we still felt "outside." The brilliance of this place is even indoors is outdoors if they open up all the doors like they did when we were there, so great for covid-conscious folks. Our server Michael was super attentive, despite tending to nearly every table there, and the manager was also running around to pitch in, too. The drinks were delightful - the cocktails were delicious, and pretty comparable in price to other bars around dc. We only tried two of the snacks, and they were okay, nothing fantastic. But the drinks truly shine. Ambiance is for sure 12/10. Great view of the Washington Monument and perfect for all those instagram photos. Overall a really fun, delightful space. It's clear that management is trying their best to catch up from their opening and help their guests have a fantastic time.

    cool bar, good cocktails and good food but horribly slow and inefficient service and not for a good reason either because it was not very crowded. Each individual server was fine which is just an indication that there must be something up with the system. It was as if nobody knew what their specific role was and so nobody came to the table because they assumed that someone else had it covered. We asked to move tables which was more of an issue than it should have been – the hostess told me she wanted to avoid moving people so that she could keep everyone straight… but it didn’t make sense because she sat us, a party of two, at a four top. The seats were really uncomfortable so when a two top opened up, we asked to move.After some deliberation she said ‘ok but… how much of a mess did you leave?’ Lol which was a strange comment. She peeked at the table, realized we had not left a mess (bc in fact we had just been sat moments earlier…) and then finally decided it was okay for us to move.

    Overall good experience but has to wait a very long time for drinks as they are quite understaffed. Drinks were delicious and the staff was very knowledgeable and helpful with suggestions. Did not have any food as we were going to dinner after.

    We were there for HH. Arrived 5-8 mins before our 5pm reservation. I was asked to wait until the place opened at 5. No problem. 1: it was not a friendly welcome. 2. At 5 the manager told me, he could seat me at the bar, but without a reservation I could not be seated at the table. That was his initial approach. No warm welcome or greeting. 3. I told him I had a reservation as a matter of fact my name was first on the list. No apologies for the off putting approach. The entire team never made us feel Welcomed. 4. From 5-7 empty chairs all around. So why not let ppl be comfortable at a table. The view was great. I was there to catch up with a friend so not a lot of interruptions, Snack offering were shareable but expensive. Drinks where a bit over priced. What I don’t get is that it was a place that wanted to be Posh, but the wait staff uniforms looked like a car hopers at a drive in.

    Pretty bad service. We arrived at 10:45 just to take a peak at the view since it was our last night there at the hotel. The hostess and bar tender said no. We promised to be quick and not to order, there were still a few people seated, just let us take a look since they were open until 11, but they said no. Wow! Very poor service.

    It took me two days of calling for reserving a table larger than 4 people. They don't have a phone number associated with the bar so I had to call the Hotel reception multiple times. When part of the party arrived, they didn't let them sit because the whole party wasn't there (maybe saying that beforehand?) It took 30 minutes to get our cocktails (extremely overpriced for what they offered and a lot of ice), we also wanted to get some food but we were told, after 30 minutes, that they didn't have any food (???). Note that it was around dinner time. The server and the view were the only positive aspects, he was very nice and funny.

    Music was horrible. The music pumping in was elevator music of some sort. 2 drinks on the menu weren’t available (at 6 pm), fries with little pieces of pork belly (that we could have done without) were $14. Nothing else on the food menu was appetizing. The staff was great and the ambiance was good. That’s the only thing that might make me return when it warms up. The problems are easy to fix, I just hope they fix them because this place has a lot of potential.
