Restaurant accepted reservation 2 weeks ahead of time. I called before.going there to ask a question and no one answered. Parked and walked there to find out they'd been closed for 5 days and another week more for maintenance. They did not cancel the reservation or contact us.

I had a reservation for a birthday party. When we arrived, the restaurant was closed “ for electric repairs”. I understand that everything might happen bit why nobody called or text me to inform me about it? Very poor service this time, it was very rude.

We did not have a good experience this time. The service was not good with the male server. It got better when one of the managers took over waiting on us. The food was marginal. 2 of the party got the Veal Marsala and said they wouldn’t order it again.

I was so anxious to try this restaurant but I have to say I was disappointed. They need to update the website because the menu was totally different. Options are very limited, portions are small and prices high for what you get. The burrata appetizer was 3 very thin sliced half slices of tomato for $14. The bruschetta was delicious but only 4 very small pieces of bread over toasted. Service was slow.

Went to dinner with my single mother. Waiter obviously thought we weren’t going to spend any money so did not cater to us at all. We spent 20 minutes waiting for bread and drinks and then another 45 minutes waiting for our meals which was chicken and mussels. We left before dinner could get to us, not worth being treated disrespectfully.

Lovely dinner. Our server AJ could not have been more helpful and enjoyable. The food is delicious. We all agreed it is probably the best Italian meal we’ve had outside of Italy and the bruschetta is the best we’ve ever had. I love the fact that they take reservations because it is not a very large place and I don’t prefer to wait for a table.

If i could give them 10 stars, I would. We went there for brunch. The food was perfect, very special. Their egg special had shaved fresh truffles on top...unbelievable! The atmosphere was wonderful. The service was exceptional. I can't wait to go back!

Went for dinner, service and food great! I the ambiance could be improved if they had curtains between the office building entrance and the restaurant. It’s too bright with the bright led office entrance lights. I will be back for sure because that was the best tiramisu I’ve ever had! Service was excellent!

Thought the establishment is beautiful , very European , quaint and romantic , it lacked delicious food . My gnocchi was bland , the brranzino was loaded with bones . When we told the waiter , he said the chef doesn’t normally serve it that way but didn’t offer any consideration . They are a non tipping resteraunt , gratuity is added into the prices . That would not be a problem , except when u are unhappy with your meal , u have no recourse, if they aren’t willing todo anything

We've ignored this place for a few years for reasons I don't know why. All of the sudden we decided to try it for dinner on Saturday night and we loved it. The pasta and gnocchi were fantastic, as was the swordfish. Drinks are poured generously, and the atmosphere is quite charming. Given it's in Birmingham we expected the usual price gouging, but we were pleasantly surprised with the prices being very reasonable. This place really should be a must for people who like Italian.

I love dining here. Tonight we shared veal meatballs, minestrone, the pear salad, and Strozzapreti Emiliana pasta. Everything was delicious. Highly recommend.

I had a great experience dining here for breakfast with my family . Our server was excellent. She was very attentive and hospitable. The food was OK. I would say it lacked flavor and there was not many options to choose from. Overall, I would recommend LA Strada to a friend. It’s a beautiful atmosphere and a they have friendly staff.
