Service was standard, but the atmosphere is more upscale, could use a touch of help here. Salmon was undercooked, waitress didn't even ask the desired temperature when ordering, the assumption it is usually medium, it was not.

We really enjoyed our visit to La Riv. There were four of us, all first time visitors. One couple each had the ravioli and said it was delicious. We split a Caesar salad and the bucatini pasta. Both were very tasty. We can highly recommend this restaurant and will eagerly revisit if we are in Georgetown!! The server was excellent, but we didn’t get a name to be able to post it here. The tiramisu was great!!

Food and service were outstanding! Strong recommendations for food abd wine. Paul made sure the pace of food delivery matched our group. The best restaurant in Georgetown!

There were 6 of us for a birthday dinner, everyone enjoyed everything and they gave us complimentary dessert for the birthday wonderful experience and already talking about going back

It was very loud and difficult to have a conversation at our table. We ordered a bottle of wine for the table before we ordered our food and they sent out the wrong wine. By the time the correct bottle which they were featuring that night came out our food was already at the table. Our waitress was carrying on a conversation with the table behind us for quite a while a while when we were trying to get her attention. She wasn’t very attentive during the course of our meal. Overall it was disappointing compared to previous meals there.
