La Mariposa is a traditional Mexican restaurant. Translated, La Mariposa means "butterfly" and it's not hard to see why given how beautiful the interior of this restaurant is. While many people come here for the delicious and authentic Mexican cuisine, one of the biggest draws is the margarita bar, which has over 50 styles and sizes of margarita for diners to indulge in. These can be on the rocks or frozen come in glasses as large as 44 ounces.La Mariposa doesn't have a huge menu like many Mexican restaurants. Instead, the kitchen staff here chooses to focus on a few dishes and do those extremely well. On any given night, guests might have 7 or 8 dishes to choose from. With such a specialized menu, every item is a signature item. Some of the favorites at La Mariposa, though, are the tacos dorados and the enchiladas suizas.
