Kitchens on Kent will be taking some time to reimagine its future offering, and in the interim will no longer be offering buffet lunch or dinner together with afternoon tea. We sincerely apologise for any inconvenience or disappointment this may cause for any plans you had to dine with us.

From Monday 6th November 2023, our offering will change, serving daily breakfast for hotel guests only.
A La Carte lunch will be available on a request basis in our Harbour Room (Monday to Friday) whilst our Observatory Bar will offer A La Carte dinner seven nights per week as well as lunch on weekends.

All bookings that are affected will be fully refundable and our team are in the process of contacting all guests with more details. For any specific issues or requests, please email tlsyd.kitchensonkent@langhamhotels.com

Our waiter Marek was great. The only (slight) complaintwas that the scones werea bit dry. everything else was absolutely delicious. Cannot comment on value as it was a gift.

It took quite a while to receive the coffee or tea, and I believe it would be more convenient if they left a coffee mug and milk or tea on the table. While the food was good, it didn't have that extra something to make it truly exciting, except for the dessert, which was a standout. I'd love to see the establishment develop its own unique specialties.

I absolutely loved my experience at the Kitchens on Kent at The Langham Sydney. They do not over book the area so their are no long lines or wait for food. The food quality is amazing. The seafood was very fresh and the bubble tea is better at the Langham then it is outside.

We went for their buffet lunch and it did not disappoint. There was a large and fresh selection of seafood, roast, meats, vegetables & desserts. Staff/service was friendly, attentive and outstanding. The venue was pleasant, clean and inviting.

Our waiter Coco was one of the best team member there! I didnt grab her name however there was a lovely filipino chef looking after the pizza/pasta station who was also amazing! Overall experience was outstanding and look forward to returning. Will highly recommend to friends and family

Not recommended for anyone with a dietary requirement. Completely unable to support with options from the buffet and very limited a la carte menu. Meals took a very long time to prepare and lacked presentation and flavour. Very disappointing for a restaurant in such a high quality and fabulous hotel.

Staff and chef were absolutely amazing!!! Went for the chilli crab Fridays and although the experience was great, it wasn’t really worth the extra money. Overall, good experience to try once, would probably opt for the bottomless brunch instead.

I had a very special birthday at kitchen on kent. They offered dry ice celebration service on your birthday dessert. And thd pink ribbon on the Champagne glasses when you order Champagne. Love the whole experience so much and I will recommend to my friend's for sure!

Seafood and japanese seafood dishes good ,salads good,as were pasta and asian dishes ,roast below average ,chicken and beef ,hibachi looked uninspiring with onlly kebabs,pizza i thought very poor, little topping and lacked flavour,dessert bar outstanding with lots of choice ,cakes ixe cream etc service was good ,for a top price buffet i feel it could improve in areas mentioned .

Food was absolutely horrible for what it priced; simply compares with epicurean, no competition at all, quality of hot food is so bad as well as sashimi (tuna was frozen saku fillet that Japanese food supplier sells) even with half the cost; not worth it at all; and pictures on website and things are so different; no soft drinks chatime was also water-downed tea.. such a bad place.

Seafood bar consisted of oysters, crabs, prawns and bugs. All very fresh and delicious. Sashimi bar looked good but I didn't try it this time. Loved the grill to order meat and vege bar and also grill to order seafood bar. I visited with my husband and 2 children under 10 and we all enjoyed it. It was strange when we received the bill, my children were charged (there is a children eat free promotion currently) however this was quickly fixed up. We will definitely return!

Not many food varieties compare with other competitors. The price is not the value of money. Not enough staff for service and the chefs are busy cooking and serving.

Beautiful setting, had a drink in the globe bar beforehand, happy hour was reasonably priced($12 cocktails) quality of the seafood was amazing, never looked like running out of food which is good as most buffets take a while to replenish. All in all was an enjoyable experience, would highly recommend.

Oysters and Sashimi are my favourite. They are really nice and fresh. Only cold lobster is available. I wish the restaurant can also do hot dish lobster. Angus beef wrapped in pastry is tasty. Beef is quite tender. I love it. There are many deserts to choose. Milk tea is served which is something I enjoy. Service is good. Dish with leftover is taken away very quickly. Staff is friendly and smiling all the time. It is the first time I dine in the restaurant and I'm glad I have quite a good dinning experience!
