King’s Highway is our desert diner, and celebrates the ineffable, bohemian spirit of the wide open West. Our seasonal menu is sourced from independent farmers spread across the Coachella Valley and Southern California. We reinvented an old Denny’s restaurant to celebrate its retro style and add fresh, modern updates. During renovations we unearthed a terrazzo floor, sandblasted the flagstone walls and re-covered the booths in saddle leather. We’re open all day, every day. The coffee’s hot and the beer is cold. Our popular dishes include ricotta pancakes, chopped salad, and smoked meatloaf.

**Please note that King's Highway operates on a "first come first served" basis between 7 am & 5 pm except for parties of 10 or more

We felt that they were asking way too much money for the food on the menu, and as casual as the atmosphere was. It felt like a restaurant geared particularly for influencers, which is probably saying something about my age.

This is a fun "diner style" restaurant located at the ACE Hotel. We wanted to try it based on the vibe and popularity of the ACE. We dined mid afternoon and it was not very crowded, however the service was a bit slow. Prices are definitely on the HIGH side, so be prepared to throw down some cash for lunch. The Mediterranean dippy appetizer was great, however the dip to crudite ratio could have been a little better (we ran out of dippable items). The cauliflower bites were amazing and the sauces paired really well with them. The fries were battered and extra yummy. The tuna melt was not very melty and def dry - would not recommend. The burger was substantial with two patties and very tasty, and the fish tacos were enjoyed with lots of tortilla chips on the side. I think it is worth the visit for the experience. We did not partake in the salads, but they looked great from afar!!

I asked for a “medium spicey” bloody mary and it was so spicy had to send it back. The portions were very small. Ranchos Huerovos was underwhelming. Out of cinnamon rolls, is ordered chocolate croissants - cold, chewy and days old. Ordered coffee at the end and had to ask 2 times to receive it.

Never seen a $78 surcharge for six people called restocking fee. I felt like it was an error, but the server said they do that now when there’s six people are more very sketchy -unsure if that was an error after all.

The breakfast food was definitely over priced but delicious nonetheless. We really enjoy our experience overall and the staff was incredibly kind and thoughtful! Would go back!
