Kemosabe at Silverheels, located at 603 Main Street in Frisco, CO, is a unique Sushi Grill specializing in Colorado Asian Fusion and American-style sushi and sashimi. Our new branded fusion features hand cut fish, choice steaks, Rocky Mountain trout, seafood, burgers, and much more. Co-Owner Bob, a Colorado Restaurant Association Restaurant Hall of Fame member, Chef/Owner Tyler, Chef Dan and GM Roy honed their skill for a combined 100 years of restaurant experience. The atmosphere is as unique as the food. The Colorado bar keeps its cozy old-fashioned log cabin feel with an interesting collection of taxidermy perched in the rafters. The food is great, but the gas leak and staff's nonchalance about it concerns me. The front room was so inundated with hydrocarbon fumes that we almost left entirely. I had a headache within a minute of setting down, and their excuse that it "always smells like that" is dangerous to the public. I'd love to give this restaurant five stars, but the lack of care and fact I still feel burning from the propane/butane in the air makes it three star, at best. They are going to kill someone and think they're innocent in the matter despite NUMEROUS people mentioning the unburnt fuel being dispersed through the restaurant. Until they are willing to acknowledge and address that issue, I will neither return nor recommend this place; it's a shame, because their food was great.

Kemosabe was a great find for us and especially our daughter who loves sushi! We arrived during happy hour and tried a variety from rolls to the squid salad and fish tacos. Convenient location on the main strip-we’ll add this to our list of regular restaurants!

We had a wonderful dining experience. The sushi was amazing! I loved it! Everyone enjoyed their meal. Our waiter was super friendly and gave us wonderful suggestions. We will be going back when we return to Frisco.

An unexpected and great find for sushi lovers in the middle of the Rocky Mountains. We have lived in California and have very high standards for our sushi and fish, and Kemosabe delivered an amazing meal. It's not cheap, but well worth the money.

We've been dining at Silver Heels for years. We always experience great food and service. Last night on the "patio" was great for friends to catch up. It was nice and quiet and the firepit added such great ambiance. See you again soon Silver Heels!

We adore this restaurant! The whole family can order whatever suits their fancy that day. It’s brilliant to combine sushi with American fare. We’ve never met a person who tried sushi and didn’t like it, but sometimes people are unwilling to try. Haha.

After we arrived at 6:30, it took 90 minutes to receive our food. The restaurant seemed moderately busy, but something was clearly off. Probably short staffed. Server was friendly but seemed to avoid us for fear of having to explain the long delay. At one point, told us that their computer crashed. Sushi rolls quality was good, but nigiri wasn’t as good. We won’t be back.

The service was discombobulated and there was visible food waste on floor around our table. The menus are disgustingly worn and dirty. The food was overly salty and the lettuce leaf wraps that came with my meal was wilted, very old, and had black bugs or dirt on it. So disappointing and gross experience.

My husband and I have been dining at Silverheels for close to 30 years. We eat at the restaurant several times a year even thought the consistency of the food can vary. One of the advantages of eating at the restaurant is that they take reservations. We ate at the restaurant on Tuesday, December 27. As always the crab rangoons were outstandingly prepared and delicious. The special mussel dish got high marks for size and quality. Two of the people ate short ribs they rated as good with the mashed potatoes getting a high rating for taste. I had the halibut special, which was expensive and to my taste not worth the price. The filet was thin and slightly dried out. The fried rice side was delicious but should have been hotter when the dish was served. Next time I will order one of the two trouts, since they are always well prepared and delicious.

The hostess & staff were very accommodating. We were stuck in blizzard traffic & had to keep moving our reservation back. They were so gracious to let us change our reservation for 7:00 to 8:30. We were welcomed and served and not rushed despite the late hour. Thank you to them for giving us a relaxing evening after a very long travel day.

Really great sushi, sashimi, steaks, grilled trout, everything! The waitstaff in Summit County is really stretched thin so please be patient because they are working hard but things take a while. The fire was so cozy, and the food was amazing. Highly recommend!

Great service and ambience. Sushi should never be served the way it was. Worst sushi I’ve ever had. Never seen such small and shriveled unagi. Monster spider roll had maybe indistinctable soft shell crab in it. Rolls were practically all rice. Online reviews are deceiving.
