Main entrees were wonderful ( elk bolognese and swordfish), pizza really good. Didn’t love the kale salad. The olive oil cake desert was most disappointing- dry and tasteless and very very small. We were seated downstairs - upstairs is much more spacious and desirable. Downstairs is crowded and loud.

We are celebrating our 8 year anniversary this week, we got a cute little private table at the front without having to ask, and they gave us complimentary glasses of champagne to start the meal and homemade lemoncello to end the meal, all the food was amazing as well!

I had the most incredible birthday celebration at Jovanina’s. This is one of the best restaurants in Denver; one that I take friends and family to every time they’re in town. We always have a wonderful time, enjoy decadent food, and make lasting memories. Run, don’t walk!

We had the lamb pork chops, which were excellent. I highly recommend the cast iron roasted Berkshire Pork chops, with white asparagus, black King trumpet mushrooms, and Focaccia bread pudding with a strawberry sauce. I wish they would put this on their permanent menu, as it was a special. The olives are good as well. I had a glass of the Barbera d’ Asti and it was delicious.

If you want a great place to have wonderful Italian food and top notch service, head to Jovanina's. We walked into a place that made us feel welcomed and at home. Our server, Tiffany B, was helpful with drink and food suggestions. We watched as all the servers helped each other not only deliver food and drinks, but clear the table. Every bite of food and sip of drink made us feel happy. I had ordered a Manhattan and Tiffany B suggested their version called Bananaphone - I think I found my new favorite. Food was spot on from the Brussels Sprouts as an appetizer to the Elk Bolognese and Pesto Pasta. We definitely will be back!

Upstairs looked nice, downstairs was very loud and “dank” with exposed pipes and dirty candles and unmatched furniture . Food was not prepared right and tasted very bad. We took 2 bites of everything, then had it boxed We changed wine twice, wine tasted like vinegar. So we opted for cocktails. They were playing loud rap/trap music . We couldn’t hear each other talk. I was looking for romantic Italian food with great ambiance. This is what we got.

My friend and I had a great time celebrating our birthdays at Jovanina's! The restaurant has a great vibe, tasty food and the service was top notch. And they did a really nice job celebrating our birthdays - we felt the love! The grilled octopus and focaccia was delicious. We had pasta for dinner - great for sharing!

Outside of being incredibly delicious and fresh Italian food with a stunning cocktail and wine selection, what really stood out here is the staff. Every single person was so friendly and kind- I can’t remember the last time I was in a restaurant with such lovely people all around. We’ll be back!
