We have eaten at Jovanina's several times and each time we try to have different meals, so far every meal has been excellent and I look forward to our next time. Last night we had the fennel sausage pizza and every bite was wonderful. If you like excellently prepared Italian, Jovanina's is the place for you.

I had read so many great things about this place I was excited to try it! The ambiance is great. Super cute vibe and great music. Unfortunately, the food was mediocre, pastas were average, lamb shank was hammered, but the pizzas were good, but very oily. Our service was terrible, the waiter forgot one dish and took about 15 minutes to bring a glass of wine to a friend. I really wish this was a positive review, but I think there’s so many better places to eat in Denver especially at this price point.

Every time I go to Jovanina’s it’s an exceptional service. The hostess is always so incredibly nice, food is amazing, and service is always knowledgeable and kind. Always recommend it to everyone I meet.

Main entrees were wonderful ( elk bolognese and swordfish), pizza really good. Didn’t love the kale salad. The olive oil cake desert was most disappointing- dry and tasteless and very very small. We were seated downstairs - upstairs is much more spacious and desirable. Downstairs is crowded and loud.

We are celebrating our 8 year anniversary this week, we got a cute little private table at the front without having to ask, and they gave us complimentary glasses of champagne to start the meal and homemade lemoncello to end the meal, all the food was amazing as well!

We had the lamb pork chops, which were excellent. I highly recommend the cast iron roasted Berkshire Pork chops, with white asparagus, black King trumpet mushrooms, and Focaccia bread pudding with a strawberry sauce. I wish they would put this on their permanent menu, as it was a special. The olives are good as well. I had a glass of the Barbera d’ Asti and it was delicious.

If you want a great place to have wonderful Italian food and top notch service, head to Jovanina's. We walked into a place that made us feel welcomed and at home. Our server, Tiffany B, was helpful with drink and food suggestions. We watched as all the servers helped each other not only deliver food and drinks, but clear the table. Every bite of food and sip of drink made us feel happy. I had ordered a Manhattan and Tiffany B suggested their version called Bananaphone - I think I found my new favorite. Food was spot on from the Brussels Sprouts as an appetizer to the Elk Bolognese and Pesto Pasta. We definitely will be back!

Upstairs looked nice, downstairs was very loud and “dank” with exposed pipes and dirty candles and unmatched furniture . Food was not prepared right and tasted very bad. We took 2 bites of everything, then had it boxed We changed wine twice, wine tasted like vinegar. So we opted for cocktails. They were playing loud rap/trap music . We couldn’t hear each other talk. I was looking for romantic Italian food with great ambiance. This is what we got.
