    The parking is awful. We went on Friday night early 515pm and there was no available parking. We parked down the road. We expected the restaurant to be packed but it wasn't.

    I have always enjoyed Joelle - the original and this one too. Unfortunately, the noise level is TOO loud! You can hardly hear the person cross the table. The food is delicious. The service is great! The variety of offerings on the menu is varied and yummy. This occurs not only at dinner, but at lunch also. Great ambiance. Just wish it could be quieter for good conversation.

    We much prefer the atmosphere of the Main Street Joelle over the new location. The newer version lacks any warmth or personality and just doesn't have anything to make it special. Tablecloths would go along way towards improving the ambience...even if they had them as an underliner and used rolled butcher paper on top [stamped with the restaurant name] as was previously done. Though the food is fine, there's nothing to make this a destination place. The previous location had the feel of a hidden little gem in the city. That's lacking here.

    The only thing I wish to comment on was the noise level. The room was so loud that it was difficult to hear my companion. For that reason, I will not be returning.

    always a pleasure at café Joelle although I did prefer their first original location. Barenaked ladies is my favorite cocktail on the cauliflower appetizer to die for. I also love the variety of the Oktoberfest menu.

    We went for the Octoberfest menu. The food was good but the service was just okay. Unfortunately it was very chilly in the room where we were eating. It was the room where the bar is located.
