The ambience at JM Curley was great, though if you have older eyes, it may be too dark. My wife and I both got the steak fries which was much more fries than steak. We both asked for medium and the steak was closer to medium well, and I personally thought the serving was too small for the price, though I understand the current inflation situation. My brother loves his burger and my SIL said her Buffalo Mac and cheese was very good. Our waiter was very polite but could have visited the table a bit more frequently as we had to wait a bit longer than usual to order a second round of drinks.

Our server was very nice and very attentive, the food was delicious, the cocktails were yummy. What else could you ask for in a nice dinner out! Started with the mac and cheese, best I’ve ever had… so so delicious. Followed up with steak frites and a sando (can’t remember the name but it was ground brisket, tomato, pickles, ketchup, mustard, yumminess). Both entrees were delicious. Espresso martini, banarang, call me old fashioned and the beer selection are top notch! Great place for dining/drinking no matter the occasion. The menu online slightly differs to the menu in house.

I don’t write reviews nearly as often as I should but this place is incredible. We spent a long holiday weekend in Boston and went to all the destination high end places etc — they were of course incredible. Jm Curley has perchance the BEST burger in Boston and everything we had seemed to be scratch made down to the ceaser dressing. Their cocktails are incredible and thoughtfully created and prepared. Wings were absolutely fire (in a good way). All servers were genuine and kind and seemed to enjoy being there. We will be 100% recommending this spot to others and plan to be back during our next visit.

I liked the service and the cocktails, and I like the whole set-up with Bogie's and The Wig Shop, and next time I'll go for Bogie's. That is really the place we wanted to go. Curley's is too loud for me. Will try The Wig Shop, also. But for the money, jm Curley's is OK, but not special.

Made a reservation and arrived a little early thankfully they sat us right away. Dinner was just okay - I had the short ribs and they were a bit tough and the side dish was not hot. The chicken parm poutine was literally chicken parm on top of fries. The server was just okay - started off okay but just was not too friendly. While I ran to the restroom she told us we had to leave because they had other reservations. It had only just over an hour, not sure if the restaurant has a 90 minute cut off and I missed it but the server certainly missed out on a few more rounds of drinks - and no mention of desserts with us. Cool vibe not sure if I am going back though.

We both got a burger with sweet potato fries. Burgers were cooked exactly as requested and were very good. Fries were seasoned to perfection. Didn’t catch our waiters name but he was very attentive. Overall it was a great meal. 4 stars as opposed to five just because the prices were a little high (two burgers and one soda $60 (with tip)) and because the soda wasn’t delivered until the meal came out. Not a complaint, just an observation. It’s super convenient to the theatre district so I would definitely go back!

I never go out of my way to leave a bad review but I’ve also never been treated as I was at JM Curleys last night. Had a booking for dinner and a catch-up with a transatlantic friend I haven’t seen since 2019. We ate, had cocktails and two bottles of wine over the course of 3 hours as we were enjoying catching up. The waiter came over and advised that he had to turn the table over after 4 hours, my friend made an obvious joke asking if this was his polite way of asking us to hurry up and get out and the waiter totally flipped out telling us to pay up and the get the f*** out. At first we thought he was joking, but he continued to shout at my friend to get out. He also almost accused us of not wanting to pay the bill, after we’d already paid for dinner and a round of drinks separately when they’d brought over bills, and all we had still open was a bill for one bottle of wine. We paid up and the other two of us calmly said this isn’t how you speak to customers who’ve been here all night spending money causing no problem, to which he rudely replied “you didn’t even spend that much money”. Firstly, foul, secondly, how many run of the mill burgers do you want me to eat? Honestly i have never been asked to leave a bar in my life, especially when sitting having a quiet dinner with two people. It wasn’t exactly a wild night and nobody was waiting for a table. Regardless of the rules, it was utterly disgusting treatment from an employee and this bar needs naming and shaming for this. We left (obviously 😂) and went to a bar a couple of doors down and had a great night with staff and customer alike. So frankly he did us a favour because the atmosphere was lack lustre, food extremely mediocre, and the worst customer service experience I’ve ever had in my life. Be my guest and head on down to JM Curley’s but for the love of god, don’t stay longer than 3 hours, don’t spend too little money, don’t make jokes with the staff and basically don’t enjoy yourself.

Went to dinner before a concert at the Orpheum. Super close so made it convenient to get to show on time. Great drink menu very creative! Food was great got the tuna poke bowl. Very fresh and lots of flavors. Highly recommend.

A highly recommended experience. Hummus was so flavorful, steak frites and chicken blt were on point. Crunch wrap was more of a knife and fork but delicious. Burger was 8 year old approved. Service was top notch. We will return when in the area again.

First time to JM curly. We were going to the theater district for a show, location was great. The staff was amazing!!!! My daughter asked for a mocktail and bartender made her a yummy drink. Food was great and we had a great time listening to the 80/90’s tunes! We will be back.
