We don't take ourselves too seriously at Jax Fish House. Two things we do take seriously? The freshness and sustainability of our seafood. You know fresh fish when you see, smell, and taste it-and thanks to modern delivery technology, we bring in that freshy-fresh seven days a week. Sustainability is a little more complicated. Not all commercial fisheries are created equal. That's why we work closely with our suppliers and science-based organizations to ensure that every single thing we serve is responsibly sourced. We consider the stocks of the species we source to prevent overfishing and we work with suppliers who harvest in ways that have minimal impacts on marine environments.

Date night at Jax on a Friday night was perfect! Great energy and everyone was ready to have fun! We sat at the bar (preferred) and shared some dishes. Narch is oyster month-veru tasty and fresh! Their coctail are so good! I had a prickly pear margarita. Hit the spot after a very long work-week!

We recently moved to Boulder and have been working our way through the area restaurants. We saw that Jax Fish House was recently named the top seafood restaurant in Boulder. It definitely lives up to this recognition! The food was delicious and our server was terrific. The GM stopped by our table to check up on us and he was soooo nice and gracious. We will DEFINTELY be back! (And we learned Jax has an amazing happy hour too!) :)

Outstanding high quality seafood. We had the Thai mussels, peel and eat shrimp with Old Bay, fried calamari with spicy dip, lobster roll, and seafood chowder. Also enjoyed the yuzu gin and tonic, and lime thyme soda.

Very cramped space, felt I was going to trip waiters going by while eating and moving my arms in a normal eating pattern. Lobster roll was disappointing but the scallops were good.

The occasion was Mardi Gras and Birthday celebration! The menus and drinks options were cool and fun! The food was delicious! A great activity was the crayons, and opportunity to color/draw, while waiting for my dinner guest. The picture is the King Cake/Beignet baby!💜

I was delighted by the ambiance and the service was pleasant. The food was very overpriced and poor quality, except for the Bacon Fat Cornbread with Maple Butter, which was delicious! I had the Gumbo which was basically a thick beef gravy with bits of meat, seafood and rice, worst ever. The side of Macaroni and Cheese with bits of lobster was extremely dry. I will be going elsewhere next time I am in town.

We were celebrating a Birthday. Our Server was great! The Host and the shucker were helpful and friendly. We were the last to leave and we were not made to feel rushed! (We should have left 15 minutes before we did! Sorry!) We enjoyed ourselves! Thank you!

Portions were way too small. Very overpriced for the amount of food on the plate. Quality was 5 star and tasted very good but after spending $150 between myself and my sister buying just one alcoholic drink, we were still hungry upon leaving the restaurant. Won’t be coming back for the lack of value.
