Jar, the highly acclaimed restaurant by Chef Suzanne Tracht, is a modern day chophouse which fares great appetizers and salads, a la carte Broilers & Roasts, Braises & Sautes, supplemented by an array of sides and sauces, and dessert. Chef Suzanne Tracht and Chef de Cuisine Preech Narkthong continue to create a contemporary American cuisine with dishes that appeal to everyone.     I’ve been waiting to try Jar since 2011 and it did not disappoint. Service level was on point and the food was delicious. The ambiance is amazing and felt like a 70s restaurant with a modern flair. We’ll be back soon. Thank you!

    We arrived and sat at 7:45 The service seemed to be pretty slow from the get go. At 7:55 the boss boy asked if we wanted water! At 8 pm the server arrived and since we had already waited 15 min we went ahead and ordered the appetizer, and the main course at the same time. The appetizer was served at 8:20z the main course did not arrive until 9:20 This was very unusual since the place did not seem to be particularly busy. I didn’t make a big deal out of it but the lady I was with was really bothered by it. I understand it really shouldn’t have taken this long. No apology from the management either.

    This is a chophouse as advertised - a little bit casual, a little bit fancy and not as unapproachable as some rarified, overdone steakhouses. I’ve been trying out a few nice restaurants for a lovely steak dinner and honestly, I’ll definitely be going back to this one for sure. The ambiance was very nice, upscale but interestingly intimate. The service was attentive, but not overbearing and the drinks and food were totally on par with expectations (which are fairly high). Not going to lie… the onion rings exceeded expectations.

    Jar never ceases to amaze with its high quallity, superior consistency and highly experienced staff . In this day and age when some chefs go over board by trying to convince you that the peat moss on your plate is your main course and the chef took hours to assemble it is refreashing to go to Jar and have superior real food. Kudos to Suzanne and her staff.

    We've returned to Jar for many years for consistently well-prepared and quality food. Steaks are always done to perfection and the o-rings are the best anywhere. Service is always welcoming and professional; any glitches are gladly resolved by the staff. For a top-notch dining venue, this is it...we especially enjoy the quieter weekday early evening time.     The food was excellent! The chef came by to greet us and check in on our experience. We went on a Wednesday night so it was pretty low-key, which is how I like to enjoy my food. I don't care to have to shout at my dinner companion.
