    Very disappointed with Tepanyaki experience. In Instagram it is promoted as entertainment, where chef makes a show for you with elements of fire and show off skills. In reality chef fried 3 dishes same way as at any kitchen, which was very disappointing. Food was average. Can highlight salmon carpaccio, which was really amazing and tuna tataki was nice. Service careless. We arrived at 6pm and were first guests to be seated, hostess handover menu and left. We waited someone to explain us package, experience and order process as it was our first time, but no one paid attention. We saw plenty of servers passing by, chatting between each other, but no one attended us till we asked hostess to assist us. Extremely disappointed experience of package which includes only alcohol and water you need to pay separately. Which I experienced first time in Dubai. When you pay for house beverage package you can at least have option of soft drink, water or juice as well, not only spirits. Drinks took too long to be served every time, on half way I gave up and stopped order cocktails as it took too long to get. Chef kept repeating "unlimited ", like this experience concentrated on volume and not quality. Extremely upset after this visit, will not reccomend to anyone.

    A very Japanese experience with good entertainment value, and amazing food. Recommend for a corporate or a friends gathering for up to 8 people… or even for a date. In terms of value for money… amazing.

    Excellent food, service and ambience. We had a great time and will definitely be back perhaps for the Teppanyaki set course on a special occasion. Be warned though prices are at the higher end - this is not like an Izakaya in Tokyo which are generally reasonably priced.

    Very unusual combination of superb quality sushi but served in a fun, casual vibe. Wasabi girl is great fun and the sake selection is excellent. Service was fantastic. Loved the experience.

    terrific food in a very pleasant atmosphere. I definitely recommend this restaurant for sushi lovers and japanese cuisine ! Chefs are crafting the food in front of your eyes, all taste magnificent. Service is very attentive but never intrusive, which is a plus. They have many offers through the week that worth the visit. 10/10

    The Teppanyaki chef was excellent-- both entertaining and mesmerizing in the tricks he was able to perform. In terms of food, I think there was a little too much seasoning in some of the dishes but that is really a matter of personal preference.

    We went for the sushi and bubbles AYCE which has a 2 hour time limit. There was a set menu consisting of 2 appetizers and the 4 types of rolls and 3 types of nigiri after which you could order additional of any or all. We received the appetizers listed plus 2 additional items that were not listed. The server checked to see if I would like more sushi and I had to explain that I had yet to receive any sushi at all. After a short delay, I finally received my first order. Service was slow even though the restaurant was less than half full and there was an abundance of staff around. Food was tasty and overall a good value but there was a lot of non-sushi filler served before I was able to eat what we actually went there for. Server wore an overwhelming amount of cologne that continued to affect my allergies long after they left the table.

    The best dinner we had during our time in Dubai, food was absolutely outstanding. Incredible service - we were there celebrating my birthday and they made it incredibly special. Ambience was great and had the most amazing time.

    Very nice restaurant with great ambiance and vibes. The staff are amazing, pleasant, courteous and welcoming, I would like to name Irean and Rahi for their excellent service and note them as great assets to the restaurant. My family and I had a wonderful time, and I thank Izakaya’s management, chef, and involved stafff for making our night memorable.

    We had 3 different waiters during the night. We sat there with our starters for over 15min without anyone coming. Then they came with the main course (without us asking for it) and we had to ask to change plates. They also forgot the water we had ordered, we had to remind them. Table was not maintained during the night. When we mentioned to the manager we were not expecting the main course he didn’t react or apologize at all. Food as below average, service needs some serious work.

    Amazing from the moment you start walking down the entrance, great greeting when you walk towards your table. The food is top notch quality as are the drinks! The staff were so great in explaining whatever you needed more info on, and as it was our anniversary, gave us an extra special treat! Definitely loved it and would recommend

    We were very disappointed with the quality of the food as it's an expensive set menu. All dishes were smothered in butter, over cooked and served with exactly the same sauce.

    A fantastic teppanyaki dinner at Izakaya, service of waitstaff and chef were fantastic. Main course a little too salty but great portions. Value for money most definitely.

    Overpriced, wagyu not cooked as requested, shrimps and scallops frozen and same sauce used for both which is a shame. The overall food served was ok but nothing special, price charged is insane.
