My Nonna's name was Isola, a wonderful cook who gave me a passion for food and fresh, simple ingredients.

I have vivid memories of my grandmother turning plain bread into amazing desserts, simple apples into incredible fritters sprinkled with a little sugar and honey, and even treating my sunburns with olive oil. Thirty years later, I still savor every meal and moment.

Food was ok, but the pizza was doughie in the middle, cheese was just in the middle and very floppy. The arugula salad was bland, a few sliced mushrooms and some slices parm. I wouldn't go back for the pizza or the salad. It also took a long time to get, our friends were half way done with their meal before we got our pizza. And we had to remind our waiter to give us a capachino that was sitting on the bar for a while

Enjoyed outdoor sidewalk sitting. Pet friendly; was fun dog watching and were all very behaved. Excellent service. Appreciated an Italian restaurant that is aware of garlic allergies. Great fresh pasta! Thanks for a lovely evening!
