Great place to dine. Meats, sirloin salad, cornbread and chili were great. Potato salad was dry and baked beans were good. I wished they had a bit sweeter bbq sauce choice, but that’s just really my personal preference. Service was incredible and everyone was so kind. We’d go back for sure

This was my second visit to Iron Star and it was even better! I had the Prime Rib sandwich which was fantastic! And the Double Chocolate Chip bread pudding was amazing. Will be visiting again soon.

Only reason I did not award a 5 star rating was that my wife’s food, the special of the day, came out cold. When we pointed it out, the waiter quickly replaced it with a fresh plate. Not a typical visit experience at Iron Star.

My friend and I eat at Iron Star frequently. We both love the pimento cheese, jalapeño hamburgers and perfect margaritas. You really can’t beat them for great taste and good value even though they were shortstaffed last night, we did not have to wait and we promptly served. We love the Iron Star and highly recommend it.

The chili and fried okra were awesome as usual! The service was great. The only down side is the sound volume generated by everyone enjoying their food. I would recommend Iron Star to everyone and will dine there again in the future.

We dine frequently at Iron Star and always enjoy the food and service. There are some recent changes to the menu with some new additions and the removal of other items. The brisket burnt ends are good. I miss the corn pudding and wish that it would be returned to the menu.

For the price of the food, there was not enough food on my plate and I was still hungry when I left. Not a good value at all. Service was not good and not enough parking, won’t be back.

Queso too salty burnt ends too fatty. The tenderloin salad dressing was horrible. We’ve been eating here for year, it use to be one of our favorite places to eat. This was the place we’d take our guests to, not going back.

I had the best margarita at Iron Starr last night. Yummy! My hubby and I love to eat there for the Monday night special-Smoked Chicken Enchiladas. We just love them. I always substitute the roasted corn for their delicious Brussels sprout and roasted carrot dish. Everything they made is delicious. The staff are so friendly and accommodating as well. I highly recommend this restaurant.

The two of us were originally sat at a booth but it was a very tight fit. Neither one of us is overweight, but we certainly felt it in that moment. We moved to table and got a good chuckle out of it.

While the brisket and turkey had a very good smoked flavor, they were both a little dry. The Brussel sprouts and slaw were way to peppery as it was really all I could taste. My waiter was very good and attentive

Food was good, but took the full lunch hour to get. Table was on the smaller side for four people, had to continually shuffle things around to make room for plates. Staff was kind and we were seated quickly. Would recommend for sure, just giving some points on the above, not meaning to sound negative 😊

They have a new menu with burnt ends. They were wonderful. Cornbread is made into muffins but they are the same recipe which is really good. Mac and cheese and sweet potatoes are my favorite. All the meats are good along with the salmon.
