   Had breakfast reservations for 6 and in an uncrowded restaurant the host wanted to seat us in a booth next to the restrooms. Fortunately our professional waitress seated us in a much better location. She was great, helpful and informative. Speaking of restrooms, both men and women returned to the table commenting on the untidy conditions. Everyone seemed to enjoy the food.

    UPDATE visited on April 25th as a walk in. The place is disgusting. We killed a number of ants at our table. I understand that it’s any season and we were seated by the windows, but the way it was handled was unacceptable. We immediately bought the issue to the manager’s attention. He said as soon as we left he’d take care of it. He didn’t offer us another table or give us any type of discount. And he was disheveled, with a dirty shirt. It’s not unusual to get dirty in the restaurant business but keep a clean shirt (that fits) around and tuck it in. The food was good but we got it to go. As you’ll read from my previous review, where I noted cleanliness. Unfortunately, that wasn’t an isolated incident. Appears to be on brand. The ladies room, again, needed. Great food. Good drinks. Excellent service. Concern is cleanliness. Sticky tables and floors. Ladies room needed attention, made manager aware and when I revisited it was unchanged. DIRTY! Don’t go.

    There was one nearby table that was VERY loud. We didn’t complain, but other nearby tables noticed the excessive noise as well.

    So, my 2nd Sunday in a row! It's been awhile since spending time with Besties individually! I ask for seating in Kayleigh's area - personable, quick and attentive! Chicken & waffles 🧇 were delicious as well as mixed fruit Roos Tart!!! This dish is definitely my go to. I ordered exact same thing the Sunday before. Oh, hot chocolate with whipped cream- YUM!!! Don't forget to ask for syrup even though you don't need it with gravy but, I like to indulge a little!😋

    This restaurant always appears to have a long wait , especially on weekends , so I would always recommend reserving ahead of time. The staff is friendly , and the food came out quickly .

    Good food--especially the chicken and waffles. The floor of the restaurant was not as clean as it should have been. I ate there at 12:30 p.m. When I asked someone about how often it was cleaned, I was told that the floor had been cleaned in the morning. I wondered what the kitchen looked like.

    Our server, Miss Jay, and her serving team member were so delightful and professional. They were extremely attentive and polite. Overall, the Iron Rooster is a great place filled with great food and a grand time!

    Our group of four had excellent service from Kelly--very attentive and willing to answer questions happily. Even though it was very busy, Kelly did not make us feel rushed and she was not bothered when one in our group asked for whipped cream for her pancakes. Speaking of which, the guest thought the stuffed pancakes were too dry, and that's why she asked for the whipped cream. She said it was a big improvement and hopes the restaurant will include whipped cream as a standard feature. The other meals--biscuits and gravy, chicken and waffles, and the Rancher's Bennie were outstanding. Such good flavors! We've been here before and have never been disappointed, and we'll definitely return. Thanks for the great meals, Iron Rooster!

    Kayleigh and Jessica were a good pair to cover the table. We enjoyed the benedicts and the crab dish for brunch. Coffee was good, as were the pancakes. Very good family visit for the holiday! Actually, we were there two days in a row because our out of towners loved it so much. thanks.

    Waited 15 minutes when having a reservation. Once seated, no waiter came to our table for 20 mins. Had to flag someone down just to serve us. The food was good but the service was god awful. Doesn’t look like I’ll be back anytime soon which is a shame

    The food here is almost always excellent and their menu is full of a variety of choices. Our party of 4 had the Rancher's Benny, veggie frittata, basic breakfast, and breakfast burrito. The Rancher's Benny and veggie frittata were both flavorful and delicious. Not much to say about the basic breakfast--it was very good. The breakfast burrito was judged good, but would have been better with some garnishment (e.g., salsa, guacamole, sour cream). Those of us who had homefries thought they were among the best we've had. We all shared a mixed berry Roostart, which was off the charts delicious! It's a must-have. As were were there on a Saturday morning, the place was very busy and noisy, making it difficult to have a conversation. That's the only down-side to this place. This was not our first time at an Iron Rooster, and we will definitely be back!
