My husband and I were exploring the Maryland restaurants. Together we both agree IQ Caribbean restaurant is an excellent venue for an intimate& classy date night . The food is outstanding with very professional services. Mr. & Mrs. Mitchell

Smaller establishment then I thought. Staff really try to give you a complete fine dining experience with the space they have. Full bar, and wide range of liquors. Food took quite some time to prepare and bring to the table but when it did, presentation was done well, temperature of food was appropriate but there was a slightly smaller portion size with the entrees. I wish they had a few more a la carte options. Great music, bathrooms were clean, remodeled and had nice decor. I would come back with friends to enjoy other items on the menu.

Bar and grill decor is nice. Server didn’t understand English well. Language barrier made it difficult to ask questions. Fif was tasty. Ambiance was terrible. Family sitting next to us had three small kids that watched cartoons on 2 separate iPads very loud. Another kid kept running from the bar area back to the table. I felt as if I was in a daycare or someone’s house. Unfortunately I won’t return. Very disappointed.

Nice spot for a Friday night with friends or date night. The dj was great, nice reggae and Afro beats. The food was also good. The rum punch and island drinks were too sweet. Stick to your favorite/go to drinks instead of trying the specialty cocktails. Overall, nice spot and I would visit again!

This was my second time at IQ and it was even better because they had a DJ. This place is a hidden gem. I love the ambiance, the bar is so alluring and the food is consistent. Consistency is so important and it was delicious. When you walk in, you are instantly surprised because of the level of refinement. It is now one of my favorite places for sure because I love food and good music. The DJ was committed and so was the staff members. Presentation was also excellent. Only rec is to move one of the speakers to the back area which will still allow people to have conversation. But other than that...love it.

This newly opened venue has impressed from the start. Donovan Murphy’s team opened in January and has met the mark in February. A catering/ takeout/ restaurant combined location that didn’t disappoint. The steel pans were overwhelming at times but the appetizers did not disappoint. I highly recommend this venue and encourage them to continue on this path.
