INKO NITO Arts District
The interiors at INKO NITO Downtown LA create an elegant but approachable setting, incorporating custom glazed handmade tiles throughout. With an open Robata grill allowing customers to soak up the environment, the casual dining area also encompasses a plant-lined outdoor terrace, and cocktail bar seating.
Been here several times, and you call always except extraordinary service and impeccable food!
The quality of the food has diminished considerably since Inko Nito first opened. So disappointing!
Love the ambiance & food was great! Will definitely return!
Love the cocktails! The new Ume Julep is so tasty! There will be some new drinks coming soon. INKO NITO
Ordered from here once and it was pretty good so decided to come here and try everything FRESH. It did not disappoint. Very cool spot and the food comes out super fast since they've got a piping hot yakitori grill in the center of the restaurant, but unlike other places, the smell will not attach to you! Great ventilaition for it. Otherwise, everything was delicious. Maybe don't get the sashimi as it's not that many pieces, but definitely go for the truffle yellowtail and the grilled corn!
Hey Christopher, Thanks so much for the feedback and joining us at the restaurant! Glad you enjoyed the food and loved the space. We also do happy hour Monday to Friday from 5pm to 7pm. Hope to see you again soon. INKO NITO
Beautiful and good service
Great place for fun or work.
Love! The grilled broccoli, corn was amazing. A perfect salad with radishes was a Star, as well as the salmon & the coconut ice cream with a wonderful smoky flavor. Outstanding little find.
Thanks so much for the review! The Ice Cream is delicious. Look forward to seeing you again at INKO NITO soon.
What a cool and hip restaurant! Love the space and the decor. Love everything about it. Love the music they play, gives the place a good energy.
Service was great and food was good. The two popular dish they ran out on an early evening which was a bummer. The skirt steak was a bit chewy. But everything else was divine. Skewers, nigiri, bone marrow, Brussels sprouts all tasted wonderful.
Definitely will go back and hopefully they won’t run out of wagyu beef skewers.
Hey Drew, Thanks so much for the review! We are doing a BBQ platter this Memorial Day weekend with the Wagyu Skewers on it, looks so good!! See you at INKO NITO soon!
One of the best restaurants we’ve been to. Very good food and service!
Thanks so much for the review Heidi! We have some new additions coming to the menu soon! Look forward to seeing you back at INKO NITO.
Great service and variety of food. We went for Mother’s Day and the mother’s were very happy!
Food and service were great. Fun mixed drinks. The food was expensive. We were there with a party of 6. We enjoyed our evening
Thanks for the review Susie, the mixed drinks are a lot of fun! Our new favorite is the Highball with Cold Brew! Delicious. See you at INKO NITO soon!
The food was okay but was overpriced. Our table was not cleared regularly making it difficult to eat when the new dishes would arrive (drinks glasses were left on the table; had all my glasses even after 4 drinks). Looks nice but lacks flavor and substance
Get the roasted cauliflower and softshell crab!
Got a last min reservation and got a great table in front of the robato grill.
Delicious Japanese cocktails started our meal
And had yummy starters and mains
I highly recommend this place for a date night or night out with friends
Love the Japanese cocktails! The counter seating is a lot of fun here at INKO NITO, soon to be some bar seating!
I love this place the service is so amazing, food so delicious
Great service from the crew especially Antonio. The vibe was great and the food was amazing.
Food was good not the best though I’m sure it can be better. Went in with a lot of expectation but food is mediocre nothing that u have never had before. Average food for a very over priced rate. We paid almost 200 for bite sized portions.
Went for the Zuma pop up. Amazing wish they would open a permanent Zuma here in LA.
So happy to hear you enjoyed the ZUMA Pop Up! The sashimi and sushi is absolutely delicious, we will be running the residency until April 11th so there is still time!
Amazing is so good everything
Thanks so much for your support Estuardo!! See you again soon.
Great date venue - great menu but Zuma Collab extra special
Thanks for the INKO NITO & ZUMA support, the residency has been so much fun. Still running through to April 11th!
A delight as always!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Charming outdoor patio. Excellent service. Great value and variety on happy hour menu - avail 5 to 7pm Mon thru Fri on patio only. Can't wait to make this trek from Long Beach one summer evening soon.
Hey, Happy Hour is amazing value, we completely agree. Look forward to having you back to try the new KFC Nigaki on the happy hour menu soon!
Great time, great food & great service.
Ambiance and decor was perfect. It was like I was in Manhattan except spacious. However the food was only decent. Some dishes like the crab with fried chicken skin it fell a little one note.
My overall review AMAZING place worth a visit to experience the food and Worth a revisit for the cool atmospheres.. see details below
This place is great and the food is Amazing and delicious. The service is phenomenal.. my server was also very great and down to earth!! I love how the mobile pay station make this easier and awesome... Here my warning IT a la carte and everything pretty 8 or more.. the bigger plates from meat section 20-30. The portion are small, no real plates are here, The quality of the food KINDA makes up for this. But some of the Price to Actual Food ratio is skew slightly.. DEFINITELY worth going once for food, but the atmosphere, server and location makes it worthy or revist.. the dark DECO INTERIOR with Greenary scattered about is very well down...
Unfortunately a lot of our fool food came out over cooked chard or burned. The space was cool and I really wanted to like the food but we had to send a couple of the meals back for them to remake. Even the toast that came with bone marrow was burnt black. Thank goodness for the sake and the music was good. I wouldn’t go back here.
Cool Vibe for unusual Japanese in the Art District. Cocktails were unique and tasty. Food was overall pretty good. they serve small plate style which can get expensive. There were two of us. We ordered the Cesar salad, corn, a yellow tail sushi dish, soy garlic edamame, the scallop skewer and the steak. It was actually too much and we could have done with 2 less dishes but we wanted to try as much as possible. Everything was delish except, surprisingly, the scallops which we really looked forward to but were rather bland without the sauce which was too spicy to eat. They also needed more of a sear on the outside. The steak was our favorite!
The ambulance was nice, very chic and well decorated. Staff was friendly and attentive. The food was not what I expected. It was over priced for what it was. Meat on a stick, basically. $18 for something they claim as wagyu, which wasnt. Wagyu means Japanese beef. I asked where the wagyu was from, they said Australia. It was also burnt, so it tasted like charcoal. The bone marrow was any better. But again the price for it was over priced. I wouldnt reccomend this place. It needs to focus more on their food and reevaluate their price point. We actually went to a taco truck after dinner to get real food.
Great atmosphere, great food, amazing customer service, good music and strong drinks!
Great food ordered everything almost off the happy hour menu. Everything was tasty and unique and great prices!
I love the wait staff! So friendly, and charismatic. The food was also really good, as well as the decor and the music.
The service and food was really great. The salmon filet and Brussels sprouts were amazing.
Poor greeting service from host(s).
Been a few times and always good quality, prefer the LA one to london
The food here bears no resemblance to Japanese food, and there are no Japanese people to be found any where near the kitchen. It's just a very corporate, loud place blasting unpleasant music. (It turns out to be owned by a corporate group in the UK - and that's how it feels.) The two worst food items I had were the fried chicken (fried in same oil as fish, so tasted horrible) and brussels sprouts (deep fried to the point where they were burnt to a crisp). Wrote to restaurant but didn't hear anything back. Avoid avoid avoid.
For a place that has an hour and a half time limit, they took 2 hours and 15 minutes to serve us our 4 course meal. The food was very light and the waitress was too busy to bother checking in on us. Drinks weren’t great either. It was basically an overpriced appetizer.
