   Really enjoyed our experience and thought this was the closest to true Italian food I've had in Austin in over 10 years. A bit on the pricey side, but given the location / space, and quality of the ingredients, it's not surprising to see those prices, but still felt high. Definitely a splurge / special dinner situation for us.

   The atmosphere is super cool! Loved the unique lighting, the large extended bar, and being able to see inside the kitchen area. The processo was great and our waiter recommended a great alternative to a Pinot noir. Our appetizers were delicious. We got the mussels (yum), and the scallop crudo (yum). They were delivered super timely and great presentation. Our main course pasta dishes were a let down. The cacio e Pepe was very gelatinous, would not order that again. And the Pappardelle was good but too much lamb to noodle ratio, we definitely wanted more noodle on the plate. The seating is not super comfortable so it doesn’t make you want to linger for more drinks after dinner. Overall, I would go back again for happy hour and apps only.

   All the pasta dishes we ordered were fantastic! The food and drinks were exceptional, as was the service. Duggan ensured we had the best experience and curated our evening thanks to his knowledge of the menu!

    This place was absolutely outstanding. This was arguably the best pizza I’ve ever had, and Ive had my fair share of pizza. It was my friends birthday and they brought out complementary ice cream and shots. This place is a must try. Will definitely be back!

    The food was delicious but overpriced. Drinks were all wonderful and perfectly paired. Ambiance was fun but music was too loud ( we could t hear each other talk). Service was amazing. Server was very knowledgeable about everything on the menu and so friendly and skilled. Highly recommend .

    Our food and service were great. However the lounge area near the bar was SO hot for inside seating. Our waiter told us the table we were seated at is the only section of the restaurant that doesn’t have working air conditioning. Not his fault but we shouldn’t have been seated there. They attempted to reseat us and said the only other option was outside. I would go back for the food but make sure I wasn’t seated at that table again.

    Nice restaurant with interesting choices. Wish they had more beef and chicken offerings. It was a bit loud too. Quality of food was great, service was wonderful.

    Our server, DeShawn, was just wonderful. So solicitous and friendly. The cacio e pepe and lasagne were very good. The burrato/margherita pizza was good but was a bit overwhelmed by basil. The mango sorbetto was excellent, but the blood orange sorbetto really did not need the black salt on top, which was unpleasant and crunched like asphalt-flavored rock. The negative side of sitting in the very hot garden was the odor of a dumpster wafting over with the hot fan breeze from somewhere nearby.

    It was our first time there and we probably won't be back. The pasta was good but the appetizers were pretty lackluster despite sounding good in the descriptions. The service was not great and we felt ignored. There are too many better options in Austin.

    We had four of us and ate up at the bar. It wasn’t ideal as it was quite loud. The food however was great. We got the beet salad, gnocchi and cacio pasta and margarita pizza!

    The food is good. We had two appetizers - mussels and prosciutto w/mozzarella - both quite good. Then two pastas - one excellent, the other okay. Still, $30 for a small bowl of pasta (though tasty) and the inability to carry on a conversation because of the noise level, will make us reluctant to return - at least for in-door dining. Also, the menu prices listed on Open Table are not accurate - prices are 30-50% higher than indicated.

    We absolutely loved everything about our dinner at Il Brutto! Restaurant is gorgeous and the view of the patio outside was incredible, they have this huge oak tree surround by a deck with misters, fans and cafe lights - the misters were going and the sunlight was streaming in through the mist and shade of the oak tree. Our food was amazing, we orders the prosciutto de parma, swordfish and lamb and each came out with perfect, IG worthy presentation. Our waiter was attentive and friendly, actually all of the wait staff was very professional, friendly and attentive We can’t wait to come back and I honestly can’t say enough positive things about our experience

    Excellent however an issue with gnats which was annoying and there was a mistake on our check and instead of comping something or rewarding us for pointing it out they just gave us the corrected amount.

    We sat outside on the beautiful patio covered by beautiful oak trees, listening to great musicians who played soft but very pleasing music, and ate an amazing meal. Everything was perfect. My only regret was not bringing my dog with me as it was very cool and pleasant on the patio with their mist machines going and she would’ve been just fine even though it was hot in the rest of Austin.

    Waited 25 minutes after my reservation time for my table. Then was seated outside in the 95 degree heat even though I made a reservation for the indoor table. Flies swarmed our drinks and food the entire time and the server did nothing to try to amend the situation. Food was good but that was the only positive part of the dining experience.
