Adam our server was amazing. The food on the other hand was just ok. The steak came out cold, we didn’t want to send it back and deal with it being overcooked and the mashed potatoes were not as good as they usually are. This is the second time dining at Hyde that the food has not lived up to the outstanding service and good hospitality. Very disappointed, about two months ago the kitchen let me down again I shrugged it off thinking it was an off night, but then the same thing happened the other night..!

Our party of four was seated at a tiny four top while couples had significantly larger tables with large half booths that could easily seat 6. It was challenging managing the space we had with the dishes. It was a very uncomfortable dining experience even though we made a reservation. Service was not good as well. It was extremely slow, dishes were placed inappropriately, order was missing items. The food itself was good, but I don’t plan to return based on the overall experience. Much better service and experience at Capital Grille, Ruth’s Chris, Eddie Merlot’s and Chophouse etc.

Best. Steak. EVER. We went for our 28th wedding anniversary and they gave us a card signed by the staff as well as rose petals on the table. The waiter was professional yet personable. The flourless chocolate cake was the best which was a nice ending to our delicious meal. Will definitely be back!!!

The food was excellent & so was the service! The steak was cooked to perfection & the daiquiri was perfectly strong. I would definitely recommend & definitely go back. Even the kiddos enjoyed their burgers & let me tell you my grandkids are picky as hell so that’s saying a lot.

Dominick our waiter was awesome! Food was fantastic! Everything we ate and drank was wonderful.. Great night. However, the 3 hostesses when we walked in for our reservation were cranky and never smiled. Then they sat us next to a crying baby for our anniversary despite there being multiple open tables. Just get through then and everything else is great!

This was our second visit to Hyde Park. Our first visit was very nice. This visit, perhaps because it was Easter, was not nearly as nice. In our dining room, a woman was breastfeeding an infant at her table in a very “non-discrete” manner! Do they have a dress code? If so, they certainly were not enforcing it. A diner at the next table was wearing dirty blue jeans which were hanging halfway off. What is the use of a dress code if it isn’t upheld? On the plus side, our server Erik, did an exceptional job. He was cheerful, attentive without hovering, and kept the pace flowing. He also offered to take pictures of our group and suggested an excellent vantage point for the pictures. Unfortunately, Erik had little support from his “Sous servers”, who created quite a bit of confusion by placing dishes inappropriately. Although the food was good overall, the lobster tails were a disappointment. They didn’t appear to be cooked properly and were way too salty. Hyde Park is a premium priced restaurant and should deliver a premium experience.....this time was disappointing.

The food, service, and ambiance was great! The only thing that I didn’t like was that we were seated right in front of the kitchen. We could see and hear everything that was going on so it was kind of hard to have a conversation without being disrupted. Another thing was that the banana foster dessert tasted like aerosol, which took away from what would’ve been a really yummy dessert. Overall, we had a nice dinner!
