Since the dawn of mankind, nomads have travelled far and wide, using primitive skills to survive on foraging wild food. Introducing North Sydney’s new source of survival, removing the hard work for all its inhabitants!

Owners of renowned Bondi establishments The Corner House and Panama House are pleased to present their newest bar and eatery Hunter Gatherer.

An ever-changing, seasonal menu is handcrafted by Michelin trained head chef Paul "Mick" Micklewright, using fresh, locally sourced and sustainable ingredients, inspired by British Chef Yotam Ottolenghi. The bar offers a range of craft beers, local spirits, and cocktails, with a focus on natural wines.

Hunter Gatherer will provide your daily provisions from the canteen-style menu, or quench your thirst after a long day in the ‘field’!

I was dining on my own but was made to feel very welcome upon arrival and put at a nice table where i could watch the kitchen and people watch but still have a bit of space. Great staff who looked after throughout.

Food was tasty and good quality. Service not so good as wait staff didn't seem to be coordinated either no one attended to us or multiple in short succession. I had read about the dining experience and the intend of the venue but we weren't introduced to it which was disappointing. A bit more training to the staff would certainly help to overcome this.
