   It was my second visit and everything was perfect. The menu is interesting and delicious. Service is amazing. Beer and wine selection is great! Love this place and will be back soon.

    The food is great and authentic. Servers seemed overwhelmed the dining area can be extremely hot and crowded during the day.

    Some of the best middle eastern food I've had in New York. Especially appreciate the Beyond Meat kebabs and vegan meatballs as closely approximating the taste of the real thing while remaining vegetarian!

    I’ve lived in the neighborhood for a year now and I can’t BELIEVE that it took me so long to try Hummus Market. Went on a Saturday night with 3 other people. Was quiet, service was great, outdoor space was heated and very cute. We were all blown away by the food. My new regular place for sure!

    I visited this restaurant for the first time tonight. Everything on the menus looked great and our waiter helped us narrow it down. The Moroccan cigars and cauliflower nuggets were excellent appetizers. We decided on falafel Moroccan carrots and cauliflower mezzo and siniya for our main course. I can’t wait to go back and try everything else on the menus. I highly recommend the the knockout cocktail!

    I reserved a table for 3 for brunch on a Saturday. The day was freezing (under 30 degrees), but the restaurant offered blankets. My friends sat under the heat lamp did not complain of the cold. We had tea and shared plates, including the shakshuka. Everything was excellent, including fabulous service from the waiter. My friends ordered food to go because it was so good.

    I'll start with the good. They have a lovely garden in the back - perfect for outdoor dining. I had the sweet potato hummus to start - which was delicious. I then had the vegan meatballs. They were served in a nice curry and were amazing. I had the chocolates for dessert. Terrific. It would have been the perfect lunch. The only problem was that my server was not friendly at all seemed unhappy to serve me. When I tried to ask questions about items on the menu, she would get irritated and give me terse answers or say "I don't know." When I asked if something could be left out of a dish, she rudely said "No." I feel like someone needs to train her on how to be a good server. You start by welcoming a guest with a smile and asking how they're doing, and if they have questions or are ready to order. You then answer questions as best as you can, and try to offer recommendations. If a guest asks for something which you can't offer, say "I'm afraid that won't be possible. But might I suggest doing this instead?" She actually brought my appetizer and entree at the same time, and acted like she was done with me. I still left a 20% tip - though I would have left at least 30% for better service. It's a great restaurant with excellent food. I just hope that the rest of their servers are better than this one.
