   All three appetizers we ordered were phenomenal: smoked trout dip/chips, smoked burrata, and carpaccio. Cocktails were dangerously delicious. I had a lavender lemonade (pro-tip... add the egg white!) And a Scottish Good Thyme (the aroma of that one is not to be missed). I was there for Prime Rib night, and that was flavorful and tender. Finished up with a cappuccino and creme bruleé. Unforgettable meal!

   It was not a good day at Humboldt. I have had great dinners there, but almost everything was a miss Sunday. My order came out wrong and my friend's bacon was burned and eggs were congealed and cold. Second time, the order was good for her. Mine was overcooked smoked salmon benedict, but it was edible. Cappucinos were great. The manager tried to make it right at least.

   This was our first visit back since before the whole COVID debacle and it was every bit as good as we remembered. Will definitely come back! Great burgers for lunch! Can't remember having better.

   Not worth it. Feels like they are trying hard to be a "fancy" restaurant at lower prices but the food was not that good. It was fine but didn't taste fresh and wasn't going to impress anyone. If you want a steak or other "American" type food, this place can work but just know what you are in for. Mediocre food that is actually kinda pricey given what it is. The oysters did not seem fresh, maybe frozen? The calamari was for sure frozen/not fresh as it was very chewy and not too flavorful. The steak was fine, maybe a little fatty, but we added a scallop for $12 that was not that big and for sure not worth that price.

    I have to say that Humboldt is one of my favorites in Denver. Great variety of food and drinks. Shrimp Tacos and Humboldt Salad were so good. They have never let me down

    In my head, I thought happy hour meant weak drinks. I was wrong. Linzy was fabulous. Thanks to her. Also, we had large portions couldn’t finish our food and had a large doggy bag, I would recommend this restaurant and eat there again for sure.

    This place didn’t really live up to the hype. Inconsistently seasoned dishes and sassy service. Seems that whoever was working the grill had the salt and whoever worked fish and vegetables ran out of salt. Burgers and steaks were well seasoned but everything else left me wanting more. Calamari was tough and overcooked. They did take care of replacing it with another appetizer.

    Overall, I love the food, service and decor. My problem is that it is too noisy even at lunch: music blaring too loud. Unfortunately this is a common problem in many restaurants even very good ones like this. I wish the music was much lower or none at all so we could have a decent conversation without trying to talk over the music.

    The restaurant has a great vibe. The staff was super friendly! We had a slow start with drinks but the food came very quickly (maybe too quickly). They claim to be “known for the fish dishes” but the dover sole was a small thin piece of breaded (fried) fish, not very good at all. The scallops were delicious however there were only 3 over a small portion of creamy pasta (not described) and it was $40!!!!

    We had such a great dinner. The portion of food was fabulous and the prices were great. The amount of money you spend for the food you get is so worth it. You can tell that the menu is carefully curated and the Chef takes pride in what he does. I can’t rave enough about this place!

    My boyfriend and I went for happy hour before an event. Our server was great and the food was so hot, fresh, and perfectly created and executed. The grilled barramundi plate is easily in the top 5 best meals I’ve had in Denver.

    We had a very disappointing meal, with a fish item that I ordered that was out of stock, replaced with a dry stuffed chicken breast that was bordering on inedible. The wine list was quite unremarkable and our server, who admitted that wine pairing suggestions were not her strength, provided a guide. The wine we selected was just poor - that's our fault but it didn't help our experience.

    It was my 4th time dining there and is always a perfect place to have incredible food and drinks of a wide variety. It’s one of the few restaurants where there is never a question of whether or not you can hear the person sitting across from you. All of the wait staff are more than capable of making accurate recommendations that are spot on.

    As always, Humboldt did not disappoint. I love the Crispy Broccoli appetizer, and it was just as good as I remembered. My salad was terrific, the service was just perfect, and the environment was great for conversation.
