rated everything a 1 because when we got to the restaurant , it was closed. was pretty upset that i made a reservation, walked 10-15 minutes and it was closed. why let a reservation happen when you’re closed ?

Even though the OpenTable reservation said nothing about restrictions, we were not informed until we'd arrived that HOB show tickets or membership were required to be allowed to dine. The staff were not informed either, and while they were apologetic and trying their best to resolve the issue, it was intensely frustrating on a night when there was a game at Fenway and multiple concerts in the area.

They rejected my reservation which had been confirmed well before I arrived. They told me they were “having problems” with Open Table and that I had to pay a fee to get in. Completely unprofessional. .

No host seated us, we seated ourselves and no server came over so we had to order our food at the bar.

It was our first time at the Foundation Room @ House of Blues, but it certainly won't be the last. Quirky and sumptuous atmosphere, friendly staff, quick service, excellent food, reasonable prices, good drinks, and early access to the show so we could get spots right up at the rail without having to wait in line outside. Kind of perfect. Definitely recommend.

This is NOT a reservation for the restaurant near House of Blues—they do not take reservations. What was explained to me is that this is requires to have as part of getting into Foundation Room (in addition to FR membership or paid pass). Foundation Room is only 21+, no exceptions. I think HOB could do a MUCH better job of making this clear on their website as numerous patrons had the same issue as we did. Service and food were fine—typical bar with bar quality food like chicken fingers, nachos, etc. Whole place needs an upgrade as there was water leaking and a pool of water around an electical outlet! But was convenient as right next door to concert venue.

Poor pre show communication. Said Bill Murray was going right on at 7PM not 9PM later admitted. Food was garbage two different sized Lobster rolls at $30.00 each, shameful. Had better meals on economy flight on Spirit airlines

First of all, do not make a reservation using Open Table. We got to the restaurant and bar, and they said they don’t take reservations and sent us to the Foundation Room. The Foundation Room told us they had a private event and couldn’t seat us. Back to the bar which luckily had a table available. Unluckily our food order was “lost” and never arrived. We went to our show hungry. Avoid at all costs.
