   Overall was excellent- service was great and the food you simply have to try - while i prefer healthier options I’ll make an exception here - try the chips and onion dip as well as the fried green tomatoes

   Sarah was so great accommodating one more guest that joined us. Our waiter Rodrigo was awesome. All of us were appreciative of the level of service. AND the food was great. I enjoyed the collard greens, pimento cheese and beignets. Only one suggestion: pecan pie! The bourbon ice cream, delicious And very bourbony! Thanks for a great evening. Kim Chang

   Food was good. But a $42 boil meal will get you a little snow crab with the legs and shell so small they bend and don't crack, literally 5 shrimp, 1 ear of corn broke in half, then a lot of potatoes and sausage.... Tables are all crammed in so tight you cant walk between tables without bumping into people. This also made the room very echo sounding.... Sadly no kid friendly menu options either. In all the food was very good just not at the price point they charge. The staff was amazing. Not just our server, but the entire staff was amazing.

   This was our second visit and it was equally good as the first. The staff are warm and friendly , knowledgeable about the food and very helpful. The food itself is great, a good variety and daily specials. We wished we lived nearer! I loved the oak smoked old fashioned and my husband loved the 9 shilling beer but there is a huge choice!

   Food and cocktail were excellent! As was the playlist. Atmosphere is clean and comfortable. As with most restaurants in the area the prices are high. Expect to pay $16 for a drink and $100+ for two for dinner.

    The service was really, really good and the menu had tons of appeal, but unfortunately everything was just ok. The fresh pork rinds and cocktails were average, the chicken extremely salty, though the pickled then fried green tomatoes were excellent.

    Delicious and yummy food. Gisselle-waitress amazing. Wine and beer expensive , I had two glasses Pinot Noir $ 15 a glass- usually I like to have a bottle of wine but there was’t any under $70 . I will go again, love the place - one of my favorite . Love it

    Nice addition to the Roaring Fork Valley. Great southern food and cocktails. Good energy and service was not lacking. Especially enjoyed the Coal Roasted Beet Salad and Raw Oysters.

    Absolutely delicious- fried green tomatoes were a mix of spicy & tangy, melt in your mouth short rib and my husband loved the spare ribs. Cute restaurant, modern design, welcoming staff. Highly recommended!

    Hominy I’d a strong addition to the mid valley restaurant offerings. The food was tasty, well prepared and reasonable authentic Southern cuisine. Four of us had a crossection of apps, mains and sides and most were really good. Fried Chicken and ribs were excellent and all the sides were excellent. The gumbo fell flat but you can’t win them all. The food was a little pricey but not bad for the valley and for the most part was copious, there was a lot to take home though I would rather have less leftovers and lower prices. Service was very attentive but not fawning and the place had a good vibe.

    This is a new neighborhood establishment. The decor is very warm and inviting, service is exceptional and has a menu you want to try everything from...so we did. Everything was outstanding. The best fried chicken I have tasted!

    Food was amazing. Staff were great. The only drawback or issue we had was it is so incredibly loud with all of the people talking and then the music on top of it all. It made it hard to hear our conversation. Other than that we had a great dining experience.

    They have been open about a month and are already busy. The space has been updated and is upscale and comfortable. We tried the fried green tomatoes beet salad and chicken with the Brussel sprouts side. Service was very good , reasonable wine choices and a full bar. The pickled fried green tomatoes were very good although the aioli sauce a bit too hot for my taste. Maybe have a ranch/ blue cheese alternative? Fried chicken was excellent. Brussel sprouts kind of meh, better roasted with ? Balsamic than poached with bacon jam? Beet salad was excellent. We will return to try other items

    Kent was a great, knowledgeable and friendly server. The food was really great. The new decor is fresh and fun. The menu is unique. Some prices seemed just right, a couple too pricy. We got exactly the table we asked for with our reservation and we will make this a regular.

    We ordered the homemade potato chips with onion dip, pimento cheese, smoked oysters, and fried green tomatoes to start! Alll were fabulous! We then shared the fried chicken (AMAZING! and this comes from someone who does Thomas Keller's 3 day process to make fried chicken myself) and the meatloaf. Our meal was delicious as well as our cocktails and the service was warm, friendly, and terrific!

    A delightful, small, beautifully decorated southern food style restaurant serving up exotic and tasteful food. Chef Jake is an artist and his wife hostess, Sarah, greets you with a beautiful smile. The shrimp and grits appetizer is so delicious, it will be my entree next time. Finally, a restaurant in Pitkin county that is not just another attempt to copy all the other ones.

    Noise level too high. decor gorgeous! The heat was too warm hearing and feeling it by the wall! Food was delicious, but need to have vegetarian offerings!!! Service was excellent! The wine servings need to be a little more generous for the high prices!
