Amazing food, fresh, delicious, hard to decide on a dish as they all looked amazing. Service was fantastic, young attentive happy staff, couldn’t have been better.

Ordered fish and chips was ok but expensive £22.50 each. Services was ok except for clearing away my plate after finishing but my wife was still eating hers .Had a pot of tea at £2.90 and only it was half filled 2 small cups and a coffee at £3.75 , much better places in the area to eat out

The conditions, in the midst of a named storm, were challenging! Food was delicious. Service good. Staff good. Trip to the loo was not the best experience as one has to go outside and walk round the corner to get to them and they were wet and cold like the weather. Some thought about the “facilities” would be a benefit.

Lovely place right on the beach. Staff very pleasant and food amazing. I would have given 5 stars but paying £1.00 for cream to go with an americano and £2.50 for tartar sauce in an essentially fish restaurant irritated me a little. It was a large bill. However I have no complaints about anything else. Absolutely worth a visit.

A fairly regular visitor to The Hive Cafe and always a great experience. I ordered the Market fish of Turbot today, which was lovely, but I just felt it had a little too much (what seemed to be) garlic butter over the whole meal. In my opinion it would have been better without or less. Otherwise everything was great as usual.
