The seating by the sushi bar is small. The AC is on but do not feel the coolness. There was a fan blowing on my face but what oil was heating up back in the kitchen burned my eyes and I smelled like grease after dinner. The waiter did open the doors to air out a bit of that invisible smoke that was making all of us struggle to breathe. The cocktails were good, the service was good. The food was okay, omakase experience was $$$ however filling. Fish was fresh, though very thinly sliced for the price. The seaweed salad with cucumbers was quite sour, Japanese cuisine tend to be sweeter than sour.

Extraordinary! This is by far the best restaurant in Sayulita! My husband is half Japanese and it’s very difficult to impress him and he was impressed! The food quality, creativity, presentation, chef’s knowledge and service rivals some of the best Onakase in the states. Highly highly recommend!

Wonderful, fresh sushi! All dishes were artfully arranged and delicious. Cocktails were flavorful and well balanced. Service was excellent. We enjoyed our dinner at Henshin. Would love to go again next time.

The best service my large party has had since we’ve been here in Sayulita. John was spectacular! Daniel was so sweet when the power in the whole of town went out and we turned it into such a fun experience thank you so much for a Great time!
