Two failed attempts to serve a decent gin and tonic. I swear neither had a proper measure of gin in them; or it had been watered down. Peppercorn sauce with the ribeye was equally thin on favour. Given the brand name and price point, I really expected higher quality.

Lovely, lively traditional British restaurant with a good menu. Food was excellent, I had the ox cheek and it was superb. The staff were brilliant and looked after us during our 4 hour lunch. Will definitely come again.

Stopped here for a shopping lunch break, booked table ok, once arrived we were plonked on the first table by a sultry looking girl. Eventually our waiter came over and we ordered our drinks and food. The drinks arrived some ten minutes later followed by the food a few moments after. The food was excellent in its presentation and taste. We were offered a sweet menu and after 20/30 mins of trying to catch a waiters eye we decided not to bother with either a sweet or coffee and just paid the bill. This was our second visit here and will be our last.

The food was nice, but overpriced. Service was slow and although staff were apologetic, it was frustrating to not have cutlery, etc. The staff welcoming you to the restaurant were not very friendly and seemed distinctly unimpressed that we had children with us despite being advertised as child friendly. They bought us 3 bottles of water when we were asked if we wanted water for the table, but neglected to tell us it was £7.50 a bottle.

Been to other Gordon Ramsay restaurants, and although this one had a lovely ambience and a friendly and efficient service, the food (and drink) quite frankly was overpriced for both quantity and quality. Will not return.

We were a mixed group of 7 from 4 to 47 and various ages in between! Also a mixture of food types - vegetarian, gluten free etc The sirloin steaks were melt in the mouth, even when cooked rare. Chips were a slight let down as quite crispy and not very fluffy (but I am being a bit picky here) Ox cheek and mash was lovely Kids eat free meal was good (under 8s only) although would be nice to have a menu in between for those 8-14 who may not be able to manage or have the palate for the main menu but want something slightly more adventurous than the under 8's menu (with a price reduction to match the portion size!) The restaurant itself was lovely inside - it was a relaxed atmosphere and somewhere great to celebrate a birthday - the ice cream and candle at the end was a lovely touch.

Absolutely amazing value for money. The food was fresh and cooked perfectly. There's not a single thing I can complain about. Our waiter was brilliant also. Didn't need to wait for service at all he was there for us all the time.

We had not eaten here since Covid but OMG it was great to be back. It was a lovely feeling.. like coming home and not ever wanting to leave. The food did not disappoint. No small portions here. Quality, quality, quality all the way. We had two courses and were absolutely stuffed. Not often you can say that! The service was exceptional. We were looked after very well, but Rafael took this to another level, not just for us but for everyone he came into contact with. It was like having your own personal butler who could not do enough for you. It made us very feel special and valued. The atmosphere was great and whenever we go there we always end up talking to people around us. It's a restaurant that oozes conviviality. The guy on the next table had a burger and said it was the 'best burger he had ever eaten!' High praise indeed. We had a lovely evening. It was great to be 'out out'. We can't wait to go there again.

The meal was fine service was fine portion sizes were good. The only thing I would say is the that the starter Bread Basket was not that good, hard rolls all the same and one knob of butter was given and was a bit soft, slices of thick bread and more butter would be much better.

Was there by myself on a Saturday evening, restaurant was busy, but not swamped. There were a few open tables. Took 5 minutes for a server to notice me. Thought i would start with a cocktail and an appy, then have wine with the meal. Halfway through my main course, neither drink had shown up, I asked the first server to pass by, said they would bring it right away, nothing for 5 minutes asked another server, cocktail finally showed up when i was halfway through the meal, The wine showed up as i was finishing, I had dessert, so the wine went with that. They did comp the cocktail. I did notice almost every new table that came in had to wait about 5 minutes to get noticed. They need GR to come in and yell at the serving staff. The food was outstanding by the way.

AVOID Went with sole goal of getting the kids to the make your own ice cream station. After eating and watching the table next to us go upstairs and their kids coming back with ice creams. We were then told by the manager it closed due to safety reasons. When I explained that the server had also told me it was in fact due to a private event she said I was not supposed to know that and should not have been told that. So in addition to a disappointing experience I was blatantly lied to. Note website says ice cream station is always open and not available for private hire I expected better

Came with great expectations and left very disappointed, especially after spending almost $500 for 4 people to have food and drinks. Each couple ordered “the famous” beef Wellington and I had high expectations. I like most people I am a huge Gordon Ramsay fan, and I feel regret for the amount of money I spend and what we got. The presentation was beautiful, but It looked much better than it tasted. The tenderloin was cooked to a perfect medium rare, but had no salt or seasoning. The potatoes also had no seasoning, and the red wine sauce looked like a rose’. It had no taste at all, even on the potatoes you could not taste it. The red wine sauce should be thicker and dark red. We all left there feeling bad about the money we spend to taste mushroom and puff pastry.

Nice sized restaurant excellent location - good vibe. The sommelier was really nice and although works normally at a different location - was able to navigate to a decent bottle of wine. The wait service however was so pressured - constantly trying to rush us along in ordering - and then paying at the bill and then to leave - despite clearly having drinks left to finish etc. Was a bit of a shame as the food was nice

Hmmm. We wanted to love it, we just didn't. Our starters were OK scallops, burrata. Mains, however, were massively disappointing. I ordered the miso aubergine. When produced Japanese style this can be an unctuous and luxurious dish, packed with umami flavours. This just tasted of wilted aubergine with a slightly sour but bland dressing on it. The whorls of creamed tofu sauce had more flavour, but I didn't finish either. My side salad was no better, there was slight evidence of moisture in the bottom of the bowl but other than a very very mild sour taste (not lemon or lime, those have more flavour) the leaves could have been undressed straight out of a bag. My friend had the crispy duck salad. Her comment was that it was "disappointing". The duck was more crispy skin than meat, and the dressing was very very watery and sour, and missed the richness of flavour that the duck needs to set it off. Neither of us finished. We left our plates for 30 mins plus then after stacking these (still not cleared) I eventually moved them to another table My buddy opted out of dessert and was amused that I'd "chance it". A member of staff approached us to offer us dessert, and after an exchange where we struggled a bit to understand each other, it became clear that she wouldn't take my order and would send someone else. The waiter came, he struggled to make eye contact as he was typing pin codes repeatedly into an ipad which didn't want to play nicely. I asked for clotted cream icecream. Chocolate arrived. Went to use the loo, a passing waiter said "it's on the right, just pull". I was pulling on the handle like an idiot, assuming that the door was locked. The next customer came along and pushed the door open. Either I'm going senile, the staff were gaslighting me or we had a few language barriers. Just gah! A tee-total meal of three courses starting at 6:30 shouldn't take three hours. I guess that the plus side was that we could sit and natter uninterrupted.

We were so disappointed with our visit to Heddons Kitchen from the very beginning.I had reservation and still was forced to wait table to be free 30 min ,that is unacceptable! I was placed exactly to the fair exit and case of emergency i can only imagine that i would be smashed from the panic ,there were people there obviously more important cause my food was served stashed on my table ,no protocol at all! And was served from the table runner,i guess i am not important! People were coming with shorts and flip flops ! Unbelievable! I have pictures anyway! Were were huge fams to Gordom Ramsey but i guess i choosed wrong restaurant! I will never come back as the prices were too high for pub food! Cheers!

Our time started well with an enthusiastic server. Good wine selection. Starter onion soup was good, but we were disappointed that the spicy cauliflower lacked flavor. The cesars salad was heavy with dressing but tasty and arrived with dinner. Beef Wellington was our star winner, as we had hoped. The accompanying green beans and carrots were good. By this time the volume of the crowd had by increased (felt like I was at a pub rather than a dining establishment) and the server staff seemed overwhelmed. I asked for the check, finished our beverages and waited. Pleasantly surprised, server brought a birthday treat of chocolate gelato. Thank you.

My night started off with a nice conversation with Ilenia my server about which wine would go best with my meal. What I loved was that she didn’t push but inquired about my tastes, what I like and we both looked at what I’d eat. This is the type of interaction that I find superb. Ilenia was warm, attentive and despite how busy the restaurant was, she looked after me and checked on me regularly and consistently. The tamarind spiced chicken is a MUST! I tried the pro belly, it had a great flavor and I liked the crisp of the skin. Now the sticky toffee pudding is something you’d have to have no matter what. Thank you for the great experience and making my solo dining experience memorable Ilenia!

We were beyond excited to be in one of Ramsays’s restaurants… except the waiter was pushing items instead of listening to what we wanted and was so all over the place jumping around that he lost tracked and it was 15 minutes until we got our first round of drinks. By the time our drink finally came around the waiter was jumping around again and knocked over the Lady finally bringing our drink and covered my newly wed husband in 2 tables worth of drinks. Our first night on our honeymoon absolutely ruined. And all we could look forward to was Mr. Ramsay’s famous Wellington. After he was soaked in drinks we left we couldn’t stand to be there anymore. The take off to our Honeymoon was ruined and couldn’t even get in to eat anywhere else. Settled for room service. My husband was devistated.

We arrived for our reservation time and was promptly seated. Waters arrived within 5 minutes of seating. Waitress finally came back about 10 minutes later to take our order. The restaurant was not busy. Appetizer and drinks arrived in 10-15 minutes. Main entrees arrived 20-25 after appetizer. I had fish and chips. Very bland (no seasoning or salt) with a hint of metallic after taste. The batter was a bit mushy around the fish. The pork belly was good but the mash potatoes on the side had zero flavor and dry. There was a dog barking over by the kitchen and our waitress was mia. Once she showed back up and tried giving us someone else’s order, we paid and left. We elected to go elsewhere for dessert. Expected a little more from someone who seems to have high standards on his show.

Food was good. Service was ok. The whole place felt like a cash grab, especially with the “lounge” they seat you in before your table. We felt pressured to keep ordering drinks during dinner and when we said no our server was visibly annoyed. Then they sent another person over to ask if wanted to order more drinks.
