    The food was great! The service was ok. We were rushed and reminded every 10 minutes that the kitchen is about to be closed if we want to order anything else. Great drinks and desserts!

    I have dined here several times and never disappointed. I enjoy the food (whole snapper!) and the service. I will say that they use a light hand when it comes to seasoning the food (but I love a variety of spices—-more personal preference). The drinks are good (mojitos!). And even on crowded days they are ALWAYS friendly and polite.

    We enjoyed our first visit to Havana Carolina but a little disappointed with the live music as it was so loud you couldn't carry on a conversation at the table. The music was great and a nice addition, just wish it wasn't so loud. As for the food, a great selection of apps and entrees to enjoy. We ordered the sampler appetizer since it was our first visit there and it was so much food, we barely touched our entrees and took most of it home, and it made a very delicious lunch the next day. The Vaca Frita was nicely prepared and the black beans and rice were cooked exactly as they should be. Drinks were very good, especially the Guava Colada. :)

    It was a bit hard to find because it is located within a big building and no signage on the outside. We were told there was a menu board on the sidewalk but it was almost dark so we didn’t see it. Once we found it we were glad we did. The staff is friendly, the live music was great, and the drinks were excellent! Then we moved to the dining room. We all tried a different dish and shared it. (Pork, chicken, beef and vegetarian). The flavors and sauces were all unique and wonderful. It reminded me of being in Havana, only with food. Lots of food. The portions were ample and the prices are very reasonable. We actually thought we got the wrong check because the price was so low for all we had. I highly recommend Havana Carolina to anyone who enjoys friendly service, Caribbean flavor, and Cuban vibe.

    The food was absolutely outstanding. Just like the Cuban food I used to eat in South Florida when I lived there. The live music was also incredible. The woman singing had a truly amazing voice! Like wow! They were celebrating their 5th year in business and I understand why. I would give them a 10/10 if I could. I plan on helping them stay in business for another 5 years by dinning in regularly!

    We are locals, and our reservation was ready when we arrived on time, we each enjoyed a cocktail, and a seafood meal that was delicious. Our tuna appetizer came AFTER our food, and was undercooked. The dessert and appetizer menu need to add more gluten free options, please. We also thought the dessert menu seemed overpriced, even in todays inflation. A good experience and we’ll go back again.

    Phenomenal food and drinks, great atmosphere, live music was fantastic. The air conditioning was broken but made it feel like we had traveled to Cuba for the evening. Overall we loved this place and even went two nights in a row. I would recommend trying it and the next time I am in the area I will surely be going back!!

The restaurant is a bit difficult to find Can’t really been seen from the street It is inside the rear of a multi purpose building. But. Once you find it It’s worth it ! We will return !!     I was not wowed by my dinner, the taste did not "blow" me away. The Tesoros Cubanos was okay, Cuban bruschettas lacked flavor, received one fried yuca and one fried pork chunks, which the pork did not taste fresh. The camarones al ajillo tasted like the shrimp was frozen, it was not fresh caught. Overall, I've had better cuban food, will not go back.

    I have read some of the previous negative reviews about "food was great but very expensive." In my opinion, these people don't get out much. Good food costs more....period. My son and I had great meals, good service and wonderful atmosphere. A very different experience for him and worth the money. Get there early as there was a pretty good line out the door as we were leaving. (Saturday night)

    I love Cuban food and was happy to find this restaurant to take my step son and girlfriend. I enjoyed the rice and beans and flan. His girlfriend enjoyed the ropa vieja. The music wasn’t loud or too much but I can imagine on a wknd it would be much more upbeat. It was a nice visit.
