Absolutely delicious dinner. Wine less superb and list was long enough to give variety, but not overwhelming.
Great place! Interesting, varied and delicious menu. Somewhat expensive though All was of good quality. Service was terrific. Definitely would recommend.
Great but incredibly noisy and cold
Really enjoyed the food, especially the fresh salad. Everything was very well prepared and appropriate portions. Service was good - not overly intrusive and waiter had good knowledge of the options on the menu. The price was reasonable maybe slightly higher than what I would pay for a meal with drinks for 2, but given the high quality of the food it was fair value.
Never have a bad experience here. Booked for 6 of us to celebrate a birthday and we arrive an hour earlier than reserved (mid day) and it wasn't a problem to get seated. My sister has a gluten allergy - so this is her favorite place too. Food is outstanding and service is top notch.
Everything was delicious
The food is good and quite creative, the service exemplary, but the noise level during the busy evening dinner time verges on painful. I’ve heard it’s more pleasant—at least bearable—earlier in the day, but my experience of several evening dinners is that it’s next to impossible to hear the person seated across the table. Live amplified music seeping from the bar area only makes it worse. I’ve enjoyed the meals I’ve had there in terms of the food but Harvest Newtown isn’t anywhere near the top of my list when I’m choosing where we go for dinner.
We really enjoyed our meal at Harvest. We made a reservation and got seated as soon as we came in. Our server was great, helping with allergy info, recommending dishes and checking on us frequently (but not too much).
All of the food was excellent- we had the potstickers, bouillabaisse, teriyaki bowl and wave steak.
My only complaints is I thought a few of the items were a bit overpriced and the lighting was so low we all needed to use the table candle to read the menu (and were not that old!)
Never a disappointment at this restaurant. Food was excellent as well as the drinks. Dessert just the right size. Ambiance very nice.
Food was good; service was good - not rushed, and personable.
Noise level of Kitchen was annoying - we were in the open area next to the booths by the kitchen.
Wine was very pricy.
a great restaurant with great food! would definitely go again.
We are big fans of Harvest. Pretty interior, spacious, delicious food that is nutritious too!!
Sat in the bar for happy hour. Food and drink specials were excellent. Great value!
Food is always fresh. Thought the plant based burger was only fair. Liked artichoke dip and side of fritters
We received a gift card for here, so we cashed that in last night. Our food was very, very good. We were actually very surprised. We looked at the menu prior to our reservation and we were certain we would be a “one and done” here. Not so after our experience. The menu is limited, I would probably only try another two or three items on it, but I am a very picky eater. Our reservation was early evening, not extremely busy when we arrived, but by the time we left there were people waiting to be seated. I suggest making a reservation if you don’t like to wait. The noise level increased dramatically as the dining room filled. We didn’t spend time at the bar, however it looked spacious and well stocked. We ordered the jerk chicken flatbread, as well as the Asiago flatbread. Our main meals were the pork chop and lemon thyme chicken, both were superb, we opted for dessert, we had a peanut butter chocolate dessert and a vegan mango one. I’m sorry that I can’t recall the exact names used on the menu. Both desserts were quite nice as well. Our bill came to just over one hundred dollars. It was on the more expensive side, so we probably would dine here often, it’s just not something we typically do, spend over one hundred dollars on a single meal for two people. We don’t typically order appetizers, but if we do, we usually share one. One flatbread is sufficient for several people. We not big dessert orderers either, but we decided to try them. They aren’t large, a little bigger than a shot glass, but again sufficient. The portion sizes are what normal sized portions should be, don’t expect an overwhelming amount of food, as I side the portion is the size of what a true portion is to be. The food was played very nicely. As it is said, you first eat with your eyes. I would suggest to everyone to give it at least one go, I think you’ll be gay you did.
WE WENT FOR BRUNCH AND WE HAD THE SPECIAL OMELETTE. IT WAS VERY GOOD AND YOU DID GET A LOT OF FOOD FOR THE MONEY. WOULD DEFINITELY GO AGAIN AND TRY DINNER.
Food is always delicious and fresh. The service is excellent, it is our go to place!
You can feel that you are helping your health, the local economy , and the environment when you eat here.
Food and service always exceptional!
It was so loud in our booth that we could not hear each other. It really negatively impacted our meal.
Third time at Harvest. This time food was very good and service was great. We asked for a quiet table and they accommodated. We will go back
The gangs all here!
Enjoyed several appetizers from your Spring Menu for my dinner--very flavorful, plenty to take home for another meal!
Service, drinks were great, as usual. Busy Friday night, gets loud-not sure how this can be addressed.
Will be back again, for sure!
Very tasty food and good healthy options but SO EXPENSIVE. if you’re not paying or you’re treating yourself it’s entirely worth it however :)
My sister has celiac and lots of food allergies. It was wonderful that she communicated with Tim before our lunch and had great follow through when we came on Friday. We loved the food, service etc. So happy we were seated in the upper deck where it is quieter. We plan another meal this week before she goes back to Houston.
Very loud. Service was ok. Took a long time to get food. Packed on a Wednesday night.
The food and service was excellent! We asked for our appetizer to be prepared with the sauce on the side, and to alter some of our sides for our main courses. All of our requests were honored and our meals were delicious- and just what we wanted!
Their food is excellent. They change their menu seasonally and include their share of organic or farm to table.
If you order the scallops like my wife did, it's 4 scallops, which to their credit the waitress warned us and offered us to buy a 5th, and a tasty but small serving of risotto for $27. Felt the value could be better for that. But there are cheaper choices.
Great bar, service was great. Spring menu seems to be a little too trendy, trying too hard to incorporate trendy ingredients into every dish, a little pricey
Everything we ordered came at once. By the time I finished my soup, my flat bread was cold. Service was so so. It seemed like the waitress had some weird order of serving things... Food was ok.
Get together with friends
Food was very good, we had one of their flatbreads, which are always good no matter what season and what selection. Fish tacos were great, as well as the perogies. Only complaint was we wanted to salt & pepper our food but had to wait a little before we could tell our waiter. They need to put salt & pepper shakers on all the tables instead of having to ask for them, especially when your food is hot and ready to eat. Prices could be a little better, but don't mind paying for good food.
Everything was lovely. Loud table of 7 in a quieter side dining area was really a bit much. Great drinks!
Wanted to try the new spring menu. Food was great as always. The Waygu steak was incredible. Plus our favorite sangria - strawberry/rhubarb rose is back.
Perfect. That is all I need to say.
Food is always fresh. New menu to enjoy.
I thought scallops were very good but I went home hungry.
Asked for bread, no water refill, waiter pre-occupied.
Otherwise, as always, good experience.
We were there on the first day of their new Spring menu and everything was absolutely delicious. We had the pork potstickers as an appetizer and tried the "Impossible burger", which was even better than all the hype.
Good food, but not great. Overpriced, yuppie atmosphere...new age music and high prices.
Delicious meal as always
