   Our favorite sushi restaurant in Denver. It took us a while to find it but we are very glad we finally did. Sushi is high-quality and delicious.

   I like the chef and the waitress. The sushi was fine but if you want killer sushi, might want to try to sushi den. This place had good prices for people trying to stay on a budget. I also liked their nigori mango sake - house made. It was a very good experience and that’s why I give it four out of five stars.

   We love going to Hapa knowing we will be served quickly and the sushi will always be great. We leave feeling good-not overstuffed. We normally order two rolls for the two of us, and get our own salads. Perfect amount, but most tables it looked like people order more. I suggest going with 4 or more people so you can try other items. They have a decent wine list and good cocktails also. My only complaint is that we waited quite some time for our order to be taken. The server passed our table multiple times, and although we tried to get her attention she did not ask us if we wanted to order until about the 3rd time she passed our table. We've had this server before, and she's always been excellent. It might have been a busy night for them. I recommend Hapa for a great, healthy, fresh lunch or dinner.

   We love Hapa! The food is always delicious. Our server was fantastic! We’ve been going to Hapa for 12 years or more and for the first time we tried the pork slider appetizer - SO GOOD!

   We had a wonderful Happy Hour dinner. Our server, Sadye, was the best we've had-and you are all good. We especially appreciated having each item ordered brought out individually so that we could enjoy it. The food was terrific. We had a very enjoyable time. Seated next to us, as our meal came to an end, was an unreasonably rude father and his two embarrassed teens. Sadye and her manager handled them very nicely.

   Miso soup - cold and the taste was not there. Bland. Chicken Katsu - crust came right off Vegetables - the plate was loaded with an excessive amount of veggies that took away from the meal itself. The lobster roll /Booty Call - NOTHING like before. The quality of the lobster, butter was cold and we only had a couple pieces of it. The curry was cold, veggies stale and tasteless. The rice didn't seem the same. Please clean up the front walk in area per the age 91 guest with me last. It's an eye sore. consistency is key and this is not the restaurant we've been coming to for nearly 9 years. Change of cooks, pandemic, I get it. But, it's not the same. I came home and at a piece of toast and cocoa... Mahalo!

   We frequent this establishment and service is usually pretty good. This last time we were there, I feel like the staff was a little off and service was a bit off as well. Other than that we love this place.

    If you are looking for fusion and not authentic, this is your place. If you are like us and looking for different fishes and more authentic this is absolutely NOT a place for you. It is hard to find a roll on the menu that is not california roll based. Also, the names of the rolls seem to be on the naughty side. Kind of funny, but my 13 yr old son had questions about rolls names like “Booty call” ie. Our server was fabulous tho and service was fairly fast

    We enjoyed ourselves but the service was not very well, our waiter forgot I got take out. We had to ask someone else to grab it for us, we wanted over 20 mins for our take out.

    Hapa is one of the best date night venues that my wife and I will return to for years to come. The food is brought out immediately after it's prepared - this is rare! happy hour drinks draw us back repeatedly. we love the hot Sake and cold beer combo!

    The preparation and quality of the food has always been great. The staff is enthusiastic, professional and remember who you are if you show up more than twice. Our favorite professional server is Wendy. Not only does she remember who we are but what our food and drink orders are. I know she interacts with many diners in her day, so being recognized by her when only seeing us once a week is appreciated. Hapa sushi has a good vibe, great food and a welcoming staff. Your visit will be insightful.

    Fabulous service, great food, only problem was crammed into a table against the entry and it vibrates every time anyone opened the door. I had made reservations a week in advance.

    We were excited to try Hapa out based on recommendations. We were quite disappointed that our food took over 45 minutes to arrive, and it arrived in two chunks because one roll was not complete. We will most likely not return.

    Valentines dinner with the wife. It is amazing how many 2 tops they tried to fit in the restaurant. Tables were too small for comfort and overall felt too squished in. I get it, they are trying to maximize the occasion, but a little space would have been nice.

    The sushi and sake at hapa is always great. Service is hit or miss and we have finally given up all together on the cocktails. The service was really lackluster the last time we went (waitress never prebussed table, never asked if we wanted another round of drinks, etc). But sushi is fantastic! Always! Great go to spot and will continue to come.

    We were so disappointed :( we ordered five or six rolls and some nigiri. Three rolls were completely forgot and I had to politely ask the server to bring them out. I work in the industry and would have voided the rolls all together and not charged as this was extremely upsetting. Food was great once we got it all, but this was such a sad experience as I love HAPA usually :( we also wanted dessert but it was never offered.

    Great except that every time the door of the restaurant opened a feeezing cold breeze blew into the restaurant resulting in everyone in the line of the door having to wear their coats. They need to have someone making sure both doors aren’t open at the same time.

    We enjoy going to Hapa because food is consistently good, fresh, and favorable. Service is always very good. We had a reservation but still had to wait about 10 minutes, so the host gave us adaname as a "sorry we're late" gift. Really nice gesture.

    I love sushi. I’ll eat an entire salmon if I can. Hapa could be my new go-to. I usually eat nigiri and this place doesn’t disappoint on portions. I’ve been there twice in the past two weeks.

    The sushi was all subpar. The salmon seemed only half smoked and the texture was off. Some of the sashimi was so rank I couldn’t force myself to get it down the hatch. As a place that already overcharges to claim itself as an upscale sushi place, we were beyond disappointed in the quality of the food. The service is always good. The bartender immediately got us gluten free menus and tamari once we mentioned celiac. He was super proactive and that had made us feel welcome, even while it was so busy! I’d come back if the sushi had been better. I think we will stick to our smaller, local spot.

    While our table was not ready when we arrived they were extremely accommodating. They sat us in the lounge and brought multiple appetizers to the table while we waited. They frequently checked on us to apologize and update us on when we would be seated. Food was amazing!!! We will definitely be back soon.

    As always the food and service was great, except in this visit the greater the young blond girl was absolutely rude and not fit to be at the greeting reception area. 1st I'm there consuming to pay your salary, 2nd being condescending and raising your voice to a patron is completely out of place. We arrived 23 minutes early, she asks how many when clearly it's 5 of us my wife made a mistake a said table for 4 and I said it's 5 with our little 4 year old she said would you like a highchair i said no because she obviously won't fit in a highchair, she proceeds to say "so what do you want a table for 4 with highchair or a table for 5 because those are two completely different requests at an elevated voice and a body language and face expression as if we were annoying her. If it wasn't for my kids being there she would of had a piece of my mind!
