Nice, Apparently they have a new menu but had not updated.
No longer chips and salsa, corn muffins, quinoa salad.
Beyond Burger was $19.00 now $26.00.
To be honest the place is cute but a little too pricey.
The service was so slow, there were not enough service to accommodate all tables.
Great service and really good food!
We weren’t able to ask for an outdoor table when making our reservation and when we checked in, they told us our table was inside - no discussion. The food was mediocre but service was nice. Hamburgers were not hot.
Probably wouldn’t rush back here.
We had lunch on a Sunday. We didn’t realize they only serve the brunch menu on weekends. Service was fast and attentive. Drinks were delish as was our meal. I had the chicken burger which isn’t on their brunch menu but they were able to make it anyway. My husband had the rueben which is amazing and huge. He usually finishes his entire meal + whatever I don’t finish, and he was only able to eat 1/2 of his sandwich! That was a first. We enjoyed it and will be back!
Good service and ambiance. Salad was mediocre unfortunately
Hostess was extremely unfriendly and had a horrible attitude. Food quality was not as good as is in the past. Reuben meat was overcooked and very stringy. Sweet potato fries excellent tasting but overcooked.
The food is so YUCK. Was munching on the garlic fries for dinner as the chicken burger and spinach were flavorless and pretty gross. Even returned the cocktail as it tasted not so good…all in all, stuck it out for my kids but even their hamburgers looked substandard. How much longer will they last?
New chef. Not good. Menu changes food awful. Waiter tried to get manager to come by. Not even a hello
Arrived early and then waited for an additional 15 minutes to be seated for our reservation. Was told we’d get a text and we never did. Then waited for over an hour for our food. Luckily we got an appetizer - by the time the food came the kids were starving. We were discouraged from getting dessert because the kitchen was backed up meanwhile the people next to us got their food in ten minutes. They do not treat everyone equally and we’ll never go back. The servers themselves were good - management of the place is total BS. Don’t bother.
Since when was a burger, shared fries and 1 beer each come to $50 per person with tip? Food was good but the value for that price - not acceptable. We made reservations three weeks in advance for a table of 5. Ended up with a 4-top with a chair added. I was seated on the corner while everyone else had a side. Really uncomfortable. As an aside, there was a nail sticking out of the center of the rattan chair which could catch on clothing. Fortunately I was in jeans.
So disappointed though about no decaffeinated coffee? It just tells me they are not interested in providing service that their patrons would like. The onion rings are also nothing like the old Hanks which were fabulous. Also no longer offering a Jr Burger? Why not again lack of consideration for what patrons want. Rarely go there anymore and it was at least a weekly stop in the past.
Place was nice and everything was fast. Our server checked in at all times and the right time. Overall a good experience. The burgers are tasty
Friend in town
The wait staff, both waiter and the help cleaning the tables are attentive and very friendly.
Nice find in a lovely area. Simple menu but a variety of choices, down to earth vibe, short beer list touched on a good range.
Food is consistent and tasty.
Always good draft beers and cocktails-recommend the Dry Martini.
My wife and I pair with the Ruben and Wedge salad.
Perfect on a nice summer evening outside.
Waiters were so rude and said they ran out of plates. Everything was a major effort for the reataurant and they were not accommodating at all.
The staff was amazing, the food delicious, it was the perfect place to get a delicious meal!
Great but timing was off and appetizers and entrees all came out together. Otherwise everything was fantastic.
The food here is usually quite good but on this occasion it was really not. The Mac in the Mac and cheese was way-way overcooked watery and flavorless, save for the bacon. The chicken sandwich, which we’ve loved in the past ( even ordered as take-out) was rubbery?!! Very few customers this visit but getting the check took 15 minutes. Also 20% tip automatically added to a bill for 4 guests?!! I add 20% gratuity always, but I’d like to select it ( not have it thrust upon me). What’s going on Hank’s?!! I may not come back for a spell…
The food was just so average for the price. Very disappointed.
Low key neighborhood place, casual, good location at the mall
Too expensive for a hamburger joint and service was very slow and not friendly
Great local upscale burger places. Fabulous sidewalk dining. Both sunny and covered spaces available. I had the steak frites which was excellent. Great service.
Great atmosphere outside. Basic bar food. Service is not attentive …. Needs improvement….
Hank's is the perfect neighborhood spot for a great meal. The service is
always excellent and the food is consistently delicious. We tried the potstickers
for the first time and they were very good. Wonderful people watching.
A lovely summer evening outdoors.
Service was slow to start but they made up for it in the middle to end. They food was mediocre. The highlight of the 10 things ordered was the potstickers and feel good burger.
Lovely outside dining BUT…..
Unless you are going for a hamburger and fries this isn’t the place for you. Ordered salads which were mediocre at best. Great server but food needs work :(
lunch was $80
The food was incredibly mediocre and badly prepared. Our sides came ahead of our main course and were cold …..a huge disappointment. I wouldn’t return .
As seniors, we were disappointed that you did not have a paper menu to select from. Only one of the three of us had a cell phone. We had to call upon the waiter to explain the menu. Please consider a paper menu in the near future. The other restaurants in the Village provide paper menus.
Food was cold when delivered. Did not have key ingredient for crab eggs benedict --crab --for Saturday lunch, first of the weekend. Seems to be of lesser quality than in the past. Probably our last visit. Disappointing,
Sushi is cheaper than eating at Hanks. 3 Salads+1 Sandwich+ 4 Vodkas =$230. And really, charging for large ice cubes in our drinks. Happy to pay rent for the table, chair, napkin, plate, utensils, etc..
Guess next time I'll bring my own ice cubes... NOT
The food was overpriced.
The service was ok, all the service personnel were not happy…definitely will not be back.
The great experience of dining out comes from the server.
And if they aren’t happy, then the experience is not a good one.
i had the salmon which was delicious. it was my birthday so we had
an ice cream sundae. the ice cream was not good!! had freezer
burn and had icicles in it. wasn't a good quality of ice cream either.
otherwise food good. just love those corn muffins.
Great location, menu and staff
Beautiful evening, food was good as well as the service.
Think that it’s a better spot for lunch than dinner.
First time checking out Hank's, met 2 friends for lunch. We shared the Mac & Cheese (with truffle), Korean Cauliflower, Reuben, and 6 oz Steak Frites. Everything was delish! The steak could not have been better - perfectly cooked and wonderful glaze. Charlie working the bar made a mean Bloody Mary & Aperol Spritz, and our server was a gem (didn't get his name). We sat outside, the weather was amazing. Wonderful visit, all around. Highly recommend and will definitely be back!
First time. We had requested outdoor seating but the weather was drizzly so we requested indoors instead and they accommodated us beautifully. Delicious Beyond Meat burgers. Very happy with the venue. Will be back.
