Got sat relatively quick. Took about 5-8 minutes for our order to be taken. The guy who took our order left, another guy came and asked for our order after it was already taken two times…Food didn’t take forever to come but they never seem to have all you can eat options even though it’s always advertised. Overall ok but the servers looked lost and rushed. Definitely not a date night vibe.

This was our first time. I was trying to replicate the experiences I have had in Tokyo. It fully met my expectations. We ordered the chef special for 2. The rib eye, Kalbi were really very good and flavorful. The kimchi is great for first timers. It is mild and not overly spicy. The beef sukiyaki rice "bimpap" was outstanding. I could have eaten bowls of it. WE WILL BE BACK

Food was delicious. Noise level was high, but we survived. Our table grill was our issue, it was not heating our food. We got waitress to assist, she called in someone else who had to take rim off before burner worked well. We wound up eating our meal rather quickly once it finally cooked through. Still enjoyed our time, but will definitely make sure grill is working correctly faster.

Second visit. Drove 5 hours total to eat here. Questioned the value of the long drive only on the way there - absolutely felt the trip was worth it on the long drive home. Wife loves the table service Japanese BBQ, and I love the ramen and dumplings. Absolutely no complaints about anything brought to our table, including the service and the check. Will definitely return!

The quality and flavor of the food was excellent and services was top notch. It seemed pricey and I would have liked to have some seasonings like regular soy sauce. They had sweet soy and a spicy sweet sauce available. Neither provided what I like for an asian dipping sauce.

This weekend we visited the area on a business trip and decided to make reservations at Gyu-Kaku for 11:30am. We ordered from the all you could eat premium menu. Ten minutes into getting our first round of food we informed our waiter that our burner was not getting hot and the food was slow cooking. She attempted to fix it and told us to give it about 15mins, but it still was not working. So another gentleman also came over to assist. After still sitting there for now over thirty minutes we had informed her again for the third time that our food was not cooking properly and requested to be moved to a different table. Another gentleman came over to once again try to fix the burner. I repeatedly asked him why couldn't we just be move a another table so we could enjoy our food. He waisted another 15-20 minutes trying to fix the burner and ignored our request. I asked him if he was the manger, and he responded yes. Five minutes later I found out that he lied. And the real manger Helen came out to assist us with a new table. Well by time she got involved we had been there 2hrs. And only had enjoyed maybe one full round of our food and needed to leave in order to make our business engagement. And on top of that only received a 15% discount. We came hungry and left hungry. We were so disappointed and definitely did not receive our monies worth. I rather we been charged for only what we received. And the fact that the employee lied about being the manager was also disappointing because I feel if Helen was able to get involved sooner the experience maybe would have been better. Once Helen was aware of the situation she was real apologetic but it wasn't until we were leaving. She tired to make us an order to go. But in fear of us being late to our business engagement, after being there already for two hours we could wait for them to prepare us a meal.

Short staff which is fine, but then don’t limit the time for ordering to 1 and 1/2 hours because food takes forever to come out for their all-you-can-eat options. Also with the automatic 18% gratuity on parties of 5 or more you should change the price range on open table.

Went on a date night here. Great experience. Service could have been better (quicker/more attentive). We were seated quickly but were sitting ready to order for a while before we had to stop a staff member & ask about our waiter. Once the order was placed we received the food fairly quick. Food was GREAT. Would definitely recommend this place for the experience. As stated, service could have been better but maybe it was an off night.
