   I haven't been to Gunther & Co. for a while, but it's just as good as I remember it! My fiancé and I went to dinner for him to try it out for the first time last night. The meal just got better and better with each course, culminating in a variety of desserts that just blew our minds. We commented on how on "Top Chef" when they get to restaurant wars the teams that do dessert usually fail. This was the opposite of that. So. Very. Good. We started with the Duck Confit Spring Rolls (make sure you eat the accoutrement with the spring rolls and sauce), Beef Tartare, and the Roasted Oysters. I don't even love curry, but within the mixture of the oysters, along with the lime, was superb! My fiancé had the steak frites. Those fries were INCREDIBLE. So well seasoned and the malt powder rather than vinegar was super tasty. Steak was cooked perfectly. I had the 36 hour sous vide shirt ribs, which were wonderful overall. The beet-ginger sauce was good, but I wish the menu had mentioned it was emulsified with coconut milk, as I'm not a huge fan of coconut. That said, it was still highly enjoyable overall. Dessert was a celebratory Baked Alaska that was brought to our table. I took one bite and said, "OMG, this is the best meringue." My fiancé pushed some meringue to the side saying it's all sugar, took a bite and had a similar revelatory moment as I had, and promptly added the misplaced meringue to his next bite. It was marshmallowy and light, but was perfectly torched. We also had the Meyer Lemon sorbet, which was a perfectly refreshing palate cleanser. And we had the Chocolate Pavé with the crunchy toffee ice cream, salted caramel sauce, and chantilly cream. YUM. Reminiscent of the Chocolate Pretzel Pavé we used to enjoy at the Wine Market. Our server, Amanda, was very nice and answered all of our questions. Beautiful space to enjoy a delicious meal and amazing cocktails!

   HIGHLY HIGHLY HIGHLY recommend Gunther & Co. The ambiance was incredible, food and cocktails were delicious, and staff (I believe our server was Corey) was attentive and friendly. Get the pad thai brussel sprouts! I can't wait to go again.

   My new favorite restaurant! I loved everything about Gunther & Co. Great atmosphere, great food, great service. My only negative is that you must use their online site to see the menu. No print version is available. I get the reasons for it, but for older diners, reading a menu from a phone can be challenging. And it means that you have a table full of people looking at their phones — not a good look for a restaurant. I recommend checking out the menu before you arrive to minimize your screen time.

   It was our 1st visit and won't be our last. I had made a 415 reservation at the bar because that was all that was available. I clld to inform them that I would be a few mins late and asked if there had been a cancelation in the dining room. I was told the dining room didn't open until 5, but when we arrived at 420, they accommodated us with dining room seating. Our server, Sean was great! Tho, still in training he was knowledgeable and gave good suggestions. Our food and my cocktail was very good too!! We will be back..ty.

   We LOVE Gunther. We love sitting at the kitchen counter where we can watch the chefs and the staff run such a smooth operation and create the most beautiful and palate pleasing dishes. The beef tartare is always amazing. My bf had the short rib and loved it. I tried the Harissa cauliflower & squash dish which was soooo good. So glad I got it. Can’t wait to come back again. I only have one suggestion: add kitchen counter to Open Table in addition to standard and bar seating. There is no option to select kitchen counter, you have to ask when you arrive and hope they have spots.

   Drinks were delectable, food choices amazing. We had soup, salads, the burger and the flatbread-all very tasty. Our server was very attentive. Only problem was the square block they gave us to scan and bring up the menu didn't work on any of our phones!!! We were able to google the restaurant and get it but what a pain! Would prefer a menu-laminate it so it can be sterilized.

    I enjoyed a recent brunch with my family and thought the food was good but the shrimp and grits for me was really over-sauced. I struggled to find a way through a lake of red sauce to my grits hiding beneath.... The flavors were good but the dish was just out of balance. An easy fix. Waitress was friendly although a little aloof. I'd go back and give it another try as I liked the space and overall enjoyed the meal - plus how can you go wrong with oysters!

    Everyone in my party enjoyed everything from the appetizers, entrees, desserts, and drinks. The atmosphere was really nice that my daughter was thinking about having her engagement dinner there.

    We got to sit upstairs for the first time. A nice view of the restaurant. Our server Tommy was very attentive. Great cocktails , food, and dessert. Always a hit.

    Perfect spot for those looking for quality food for a great price. We were celebrating our anniversary and wanted to try a new spot. From the time we walked through the door, we felt welcomed. The waiter took his time and answered our questions. They even gave us a free dessert! Definitely will recommend.

    I was here for my birthday back in September and decided to book for a book club I was hosting. The staff couldn't have been more accommodating! We obviously spent a lot of time talking and didn't order right away and our waiter was beyond patient. The food was delicious and everything came out quickly once we did order. Will definitely be back!

    Always excellent! Kim is awesome. One of the 3 best servers I have ever encountered. I’ve been to some of the top restaurants in the US and Abroad. Highly recommend this establishment.

    The food was perfect and the service was great and attentive. Not to mention that there is a parking lot close by for easy parking. Perfect night. They close by 11pm on weekends.kinda early for weekend dinning.

    Front door seating in the bar. We didn’t ask for the bar. We had 5 different people waiting on us. Confusing. I asked for 5 different drinks and they didn’t have them. At the prices they charge the food was horrible and the portions so small. We won’t be back

    Our meal was great. The restaurant is beautiful. We were there with an 84-year-old so not having a paper menu was a little difficult to navigate. I have a smartphone, so it really didn't make a difference in ordering, it was just a little bit of a hassle. Also we felt a little rushed. It was Saturday and I'm sure by the look of it, the restaurant it was packed, but I felt like as I was taking my last bite of food, I was being asked if I was finished. I'm not sure I will return for dinner.

    Whoa, look at all of this space! The outside is deceiving. Let me pause to say, Baltimore is a foodies paradise!! Okay, back to my brunch. I had the eggs benedict and my girl had the shrimp & grits. I also had a side of the cheesy grits and she got BACON (who doesn't love bacon). The eggs benedict were over ham (traditional) and came with hash browns. To be honest my dish didn't look very appetizing, but it was good. I love almost any version of eggs benedict. And the grits were prepared just how I like them. Good ole Southern Comfort food. AND, they make craft cocktails! That too seems to be a Baltimore specialty. I'm not mad. My girlfriend had Strange Times and I had the Rye'd or Die. Hers was actually better than mine, but we both had seconds. I love me some Rye. It's such a specific taste. But lets talk about dessert. And it was totally NOT what I was expecting. Check out the Winter Pavlova. I know right... you're saying WTF is that? Trust me, you're going to love it. And it's so light you could probably eat 2. I really wanted to order another. It's classic meringue, whipped cranberry cream, Mandarin sherbet, orange scented creme anglassie, pomegranate seeds, and candied pistachios. In a nutshell, it's good AF! Another spot right around the corner from my house so, I hope to be back! So many spots, not enough time.
