    Uniquely varied menu worthy of Michelin rating. As for the service, it was the most intelligent and effortless service I have experienced in a long time; absolutely superb! Greenhouse has become my favored dining experience.

    The server placed us at a very noisy area, also made a mistake with my order even though I made it very clear what I want. Never came to refill our water, threw the tab to our table as in we are peasant.

    The service was excellent, the ambiance delightful, the food very good. The range of dishes offered for brunch was a bit narrow, I thought, however. Also, we were not shown a dessert menu (perhaps never offered at brunch?) and although it was my guest’s birthday, indicated in my reservation, nothing special was done.

    We miss Plume. We loved Plume. We'd had breakfast at Greenhouse before, but not dinner. So we gave it a chance. Well, if it walks like Plume, talks like Plume, quacks like Plume...Not quite the same but many of the essentials remain. The food is still terrific, the service absolutely impeccable, the wine program a wonder to behold. It's quiet, luxurious, and has the same elegant feel. The food is not quite as imaginative as Plume, but still a fabulous meal.

    Everyone was very nice and tentative. The food was AMAZING! My husband got the duck and it definitely stole the show. We also got the halibut, which was equally as delicious. The ambience was so soothing and the restaurant was so beautifully decorated. I am so happy we decided to bring our family here during their visit.

    This restaurant was wonderful! We were staying at the hotel and they made us feel so special! Everything was fabulous; from the private little booth to the complimentary champagne, to the delicious food and impeccable service, to the chocolate truffles that were left at turn down service in our room. I highly recommend this restaurant!

    My family and I enjoyed breakfast in The Greenhouse 3 times during our stay in this wonderful hotel, The Jefferson. The wait-staff were very attentive and made every meal very enjoyable. The breakfast food choice was very good too.

    The Greenhouse Restaurant is a favorite of ours in DC. We go there frequently, before Kennedy Center shows. The food is always beautifully presented with impeccable service. The setting is elegant and serene. I consider it a hidden gem. So happy we found it!

    Nice place where it's easy to feel underdressed. Wear nice clothes, the waiters have them. It took a while for our waiter to thaw out. After that he was very sweet and we had a lovely evening

    Very cozy and quiet dining room, service was excellent and the food was tasty. We had the short ribs which were delicious as well as the fish but that was a bit on the bland side. Everything else was exceptional!

    I've stayed at The Jefferson a few times, so I've eaten at The Greenhouse multiple times (breakfast and dinner). I've never been disappointed with any of the food. The service and ambience are also great!
