   We have been to the Golden Rice Bowl several times and have always enjoyed it. We think it is the best Chinese Food in town. It is always fresh and delicious.

   It was such a nice evening, the food was fabulous! Miranda choose our meal for us and she did not disappoint. For me it was extra special as I worked for Sam and Miranda many years ago, it was such a blessing to be able to see them again.

   As always, food was consistently tasty with great service. The Singapore noodle was spicier than usual... watch out for the whole red pepper. The black pepper steak(tenderloin) was one of favourite. Love the special desserts.. made in the restaurant fresh almond cookies and rice balls stuffed with red bean paste.

   Good food, very large portions. We ordered the meal for 2, I think you could feed 4 with it! Attentive and friendly wait staff.

   We and our guests arrived at the appointed time only to be turned away as the restaurant had been fully booked for a private function. The question is where did the problem occur; in the restaurant not notifying OpenTable.ca of the private party taking place, or, in the OpenTable app that we confirmed our reservation on. Your follow-up on our less than ideal situation would be appreciated.

   The food was excellent. However, the entrance to the restaurant was cluttered and didn't give the impression that the place is all that clean. We were there for the first time and wouldn't have stayed if it hadn't been recommended by a friend. The interior was clean but messy. Might have been because it was so busy (a good sign!)
