    We had a wonderful dinner at GoGa. The dining room is casual and welcoming. Tables are spaced far enough apart that conversation is easy. Our server greeted us warmly upon arrival, explained the evening’s prix fixe menu, and then through the evening was attentive and helpful without ever making us feel rushed. It’s an open kitchen and it adds to the enjoyment of the evening to watch the chef preparing your meal. And the food! Chef Bradley Turley started his career in Hawaii working for Roy Yamaguichi and it shows. Each course was inventive and (other than the dessert course) deftly combined classic technique with Asian (mostly Japanese) flavors. Ingredients are sourced with great care – the ogo (seaweed) in the poke comes directly from Oahu, the wagyu from Snake River Farms. The resulting meal was deeply satisfying, sometimes surprising but not in any way gimmicky. It reminded us of some of the best meals we have enjoyed in Hawaii. The wine list is thoughtful and very reasonably priced. We started with a sparking wine to accompany the scallop and salad courses, then switched to a red with our steak. Perhaps the chef will offer a wine pairing in the future. GoGa is a welcome addition to Saratoga. The restaurant is hidden away down a driveway behind the UPS store on Big Basin Way; parking is plentiful. We will be back to try the loco moco and poke on the brunch menu.

    You won’t find a better and more engaging chef than Brad. Helen makes sure every customer feels like the center of attention. Creative tasting menus plus Best burger in the Bay Area

    Best loco moco ever!! Very friendly service. It’s a bit of a hole in the wall but go through the ups store and you’ll be very happy to find it.

    Tried this place for the first time. I don't like to write negative reviews, but I do need to provide some honest feedback. When we arrived, the menu showed only $93 prefix meal with four courses. The first course was poke , and the fish was tough and not very flavorful. The second course was fish and chips, one small piece of fish and one french fry. This one was actually really tasty. The third course was supposed to be wagyu short rib. It was honestly inedible. It was mostly gristle. I grew up hungry and I really hate to criticize food but this was maybe the worst quality meat I've been served in a restaurant, ever in my life. Sizzler serves better meat. The fourth course was a small dessert which was not bad. A fair price for this meal would maybe be $25 not $93. So I cannot recommend this restaurant at all. I am charitably gonna assume that their supplier failed them at the last possible minute.

    Fantastic intimate bistro setting off the beaten path. Our evening meal was a prix fixe worthy of a star. The open kitchen lets you see the chefs operate and the food was delicious. We had a salmon / ahi poke starter, shrimp salad, and a delicious lamb chop. Most delicious and tender lamb we have had in years! Tiramisu to close. We can’t wait to go back - this time for brunch!
