   Our server was attentive. The food was average and more spice than what we like. We did tell the server but he was not informative enough. They did nothing for my husbands birthday.

   If you are in the mood to wait it is great, but don’t come starving because you will be waiting for your food. Just know this will be a 2 1/2 to 3 hour dinner. Dessert took 45 minutes to arrive.

   We had a 815 reservation and waited for an hour. We didn’t have dinner because we had a show to catch at Faena. They did give us two free drinks for the inconvenience. The manager asked for my number to have us back for dinner and have not heard back from her yet.

   The food was absolutely spectacular!! Each dish was better than the last. The watermelon salad is a must have as is the Pollo en Recado Rojo (crispy chicken.) Cocktails were also quite delicious! Service was impeccable with great menu suggestions by our server. Music and ambiance added to this spectacular evening. Highly recommend a visit to Gitano.

    Love Gitano, great ambiance and yummy food. The price points in Miami are a bit higher then other locations but still one of my go to places when visiting. Always good vibe.

    The food was amazing but service was so bad. Great deal for Miami spice, but really wish servers were on top of our table. The entire dining experience took almost 3 hours. We waited 1 hour between courses and by the time our dinner finished, the rooftop bar had closed.

    The place was a mess ! From the hostess didn’t know we’re to sit down , we had to wait and after being seated , we waited another 20 minutes to get a waiter . Our waitress brought the food and never came back to ask if we need anything else . Everyone seems loss !i blame management as the employees were lost half of the time .

    Went for Miami Spice, as we had gone to the NYC location several times and were severely disappointed coming to the Miami location. The hostess could not find our reservation and assured us we didn't have one until the GM or AGM happened to be close by to overhear, quickly remediated, and apologized for the mishap (the highlight of the entire dinner, she was the only positive of the restaurant). Sever was nonexistent, she came to the table once in the beginning to take our order, and right at the end to take payment with an 18% gratuity included (did not provide any service to justify the gratuity). We were not liking the food as it lacked flavor and presentation. Overall do not recommend, way better Mexican options in Miami.

    This was not a good experience. We went during Miami Spice. The meal started out fine and to his credit, our waiter was incredibly nice. We decided to go with the Miami Spice options. Food was fine (a bit salty for one of the people in the group and a bit bland for some others but for me it was just fine. There are probably better things on the regular menu that aren't offered as part of the Miami Spice package). Problem occurred that after the second course, we sat waiting for 35 minutes for our third course. Finally the hostess came up to us and basically asked us why we hadn't asked for the check yet-- implying she had other people to seat at the table. We explained that we hadn't been given our dessert yet. This prompted the waiter to try his best to have dessert delivered. He sent over a manager (who albeit was less than interested at first). She made a gesture that she would comp the dessert (this is not possible because it is part of hte price fixe and then noted that she would be happy to take off 20% from the bill. I explained to her that the 20 % she was offering to remove is the 20% that the Miami restaurants automatically add to your bill as a required gratuity. This empty gesture did not sit well with us. I informed her that certainly didn't seem adequate and she did come back and say she would remove 50 % from the check. This was certainly appreciated. That being said, we still paid $50 each for an incredibly average meal with atrocious service. Again, not the fault of our waiter who tried his best. I think the kitchens are likely stretched too thin and there is complete time mismanagement on delivery of food. There are likely better options for dinner in Miami.

    I love Gitano Miami. The food is so much better than their NY location. The branzino is one of the best I’ve ever had! So flavorful and cooked perfectly. Every dish was bursting of flavor!

    Visiting Miami for my Birthday, it was our last night in town and my turn to choose where to eat. I am so happy I took a chance on this place!!!!! Food was absolutely amazing; the flavor and the presentation was exceptional. The best part was our server, Dana! Dana was so pleasant, energetic, profession and made the perfect recommendations all evening long!!!!! We absolutely loved our dinner experience Thank you !!!!

    Lovely restaurant, cool vibe, nice bar, beautiful hotel and ambiance. Excellent food and beverages. Service was nice and accommodating, and initially it seemed extremely slow with many workers present but not providing service. However, this lack of attention allowed for a relaxed vibe and a vacation feeling that was not hurried or rushed. The staff was friendly when attentive. Food is excellent and high quality. Beautiful presentation and definitely unique with the affiliations to sister restaurants in Mexico! Great execution!

    We stayed in Miami Beach for three nights to see the Miami F1 Grand Prix. Gitano was the best meal we had in Miami Beach. Also ate at Juvia and Nobu. Wonderful ambience, great food, fabulous wait staff.

    High prices like this deserve high levels of attention to the customer and that was not provided at this restaurant. As for the food it was absolutely delicious so hats off to the chef but for pricing/service/ambience they were most definitely lacking for a restaurant like this. They then that the food menu was very lacking and was about 1 page long. Dine with caution lol

    Feel that the food and drinks were good but overpriced for the small portions provided. The ambiance doesn’t make up for the cost of the food. I also tried to call to let them know I was running late and no one answered. They should have the call routed to the hostess.

    This restaurant completely overrated. The food sucked super small portions the service sucked as our waiter abandon us all night but we crashed a private rooftop birthday party and had free drinks for the rest of the night so that made up for everything! Would never go back to this place ever again

    Drinks are creative and amazing. If you like spicy try the “kisses in a car.” I’ve never had upscale Mexican food before. This exceeded my expectations. Waiter was very helpful and attentive. This place will be on our “must go back here” list when we come to Miami. Loved it!!
