Gia is amongst the first restaurants in Canada to be recognized and recommended by the renowned Michelin Guide. Gia is a vibrant plant-forward 36 seat restaurant, specializing in handmade pasta and risotto with creative takes on Italian classics, like plant-based meatballs, focaccia and porcini agnolotti.

Reservations: Kindly note if availability on OpenTable appears limited, we are fully BOOKED; however, feel free to reach out to us by phone daily after 4pm to inquire about last-minute cancellations. We are grateful for your interest and look forward to hosting you!
In addition Gia offers six reservable bar seats, and we accept walk-ins when available.

    Got lucky with a last minute reservation on a Friday and was I ever pleasantly surprised by how awesome this place was. Will definitely be back, definitely recommend. 👌

    I ABSOLUTELY LOVED GIA. I normally don't gush about restos, but this one deserves the praise. High end vegan and vegetarian food at an exceptional price point. The service was impeccable (shout-out to the bar manager serving my table who kept my friend and I well-nourished and imbibed for the duration of our meal. She was friendly, fun and pointed us in the right direction for food and wine choices that suited our tastes. Only thing was the two hour table limit. For a resto with such great food, you want folks to be able to enjoy it at a slower pace and really feel the finer dining experience that the food implies already. My friend and I would have probably stayed another hour and had another round, if allowed. That being said, will definitely be back many times if the food, staff and ambience remain at such high quality.

    The porcini pasta was absolutely amazing along with the rigatoni salsicca. 1000% need to come back to get those. The mezcal drink was amazing and our servers were great!

    Service was the best we have experienced in Toronto! So much attention was paid to our daughter's experience that it made experience special. The food was sublime! Easily the best kake salad in the city. And the porcini?! Just amazing! We have a new #1 restaurant in Toronto.

    I have been to GIA before and the food is mostly delicious! This time I tasted the Porcini Agnolotti. The pasta was tender and coated in a velvety butter sauce. My husband had the gnocchi which unfortunately was not so good - texturally similar and under seasoned.

    The food was great. I loved the focaccia and there were plenty of vegan options. All our servers were also great. Super friendly, they had great suggestions, and were friendly. The space was a little small, crowded, loud but that's normal in Toronto, especially on Valentines day. Overall, we were very happy with the experience.

    We had an amazing experience at Gia on Valentine’s Day! The food was so delicious and it immediately made the top of our list of best restaurants in Toronto, and it’s fully vegetarian which is a huge plus! Toronto was missing a restaurant like this!!! We were super happy with the delicious food and over all wonderful dining experience. Plus, it’s awesome that you get to see Chef Francesco and his team cooking up a storm with so much finesse just steps away from your table. We will definitely be back!

    This is my third time visiting GIA and the service and food have been spectacular everytime. The gnocchi and the porcini are so delicious!! This time we went for my sisters birthday and they brought out some ice cream with a candle which made it very special. Thank you GIA! We will be back again.

    Amazing as usual. Lauren was phenomenal. Her matcha martinis were so good, I had to have one for dessert. I hope these make it onto the permanent cocktail menu because they are so good

    The food is amazing!! Lot’s of tasty vegan options, we will definitely be back! I know there are a lot of reviews saying the servers rush you out but I think a 2 hour seating limit is more then enough time. We had plenty of time to enjoy all the starters, mains and dessert. We really enjoyed the truffle spaghetti, risotto, crab cakes, focaccia and tiramisu. Highly recommend this place for all occasions!

    Nothing is worse than spending a decent amount of money at a restaurant and they are rushing to flip the table before you even order. The server came to our table about every 2-4 minutes through out the night which was a little annoying. The food is good for vegan / vegetarian people but beware you have to eat and drink fast.

    Servers rushed us.. really wanted us out within half an hour. Food was mid tier. Over priced. Menu didn’t have that many options. Wouldn’t recommend or go again. If we weren’t rushed out the experience would have been better
