   The menu is very limited. Everything felt very heavy - the lamb was really good but the veal came out and it was like a heavy winter meal I'd expect to eat in Vermont in December. I could barely eat it. Shocked that a beach restaurant destination would have this in the menu. Despite the restaurant being pretty empty it took FOREVER for our entrees to come out. The beet salad and the scallops and belly were phenomenal. Overall not what I would expect from a Ritz hotel restaurant.

   We were pleasantly welcomed when we arrive. We ate on the terrace rather than the inside dining room. Our server was pleasant and did a nice job without being intrusive. If you like casual Ritz Carlton elsewhere, you will like the terrace. If you want a more formal experience, you probably want an inside table.

   Fuego y Mar has a beautiful setting aside the pool deck at the Ritz-Carlton South Beach. We went at night for Valentine's Day. The ambience and service were both great. The menu was fairly limited (we opted for a la carte rather than the special set menu). The food was good, but not great, and overpriced.

   The food was excellent but very pricey. The Caesar salad was amongst the best I’ve ever had but oddly, the restaurant was virtually empty.

    First of all, our waiter Jeremie was wonderful. He was funny, attentive and nice. The price was overrated for the setting and occasion. I paid that high price for teeny portions that were lukewarm and I was OUTSIDE! It was hot & muggy. It didn’t feel at all like a new years celebration. There were no party favors, champagne NOTHING for that price. Not worth it. I don’t recommend it except Jeremie.

    Well, it was a gixed price menu for New Year's Eve, so it's not exactly fair to critique a restaurant on a special holiday...in my opinion. Having said that, it was ok. For 2 people it was over $850, so you would think it would be 5 Stars all the way across. But, it was convenient as I was staying in the hotel.

    Went for Christmas Eve Prefix menu was extremely limited ... so quiet I couldn't hear music and left home still hungry. Maybe it's a nice restaurant but avoid holidays here because it's not worth the money at all. Prefix menu price and two large water bottles $480 for two people and left hungry lol not worth it

    This time we were just there for a nice breakfast late morning on a Saturday. The restaurant opens to the pool area and is open to the outside but is fully covered. The buffet was reasonably priced for a hotel and included an omelet bar along with a full selection of meats, cheeses, salmon and pastries. Service was great, as always.

    We had a reservation and drove a long way to come to this brunch and the place was completely closed. We had no notification that they were not open at all and we found a staff member who informed us the place was closed since the day prior due to an air conditioning issue. We had outside reservations but the entire place was closed with no notification. We spent a lot of time and money on transportation to get there so it was very unfortunate they didn’t give us a heads up.

    The food was amazing. The decor of the room, however, did not elevate itself to the level of the food. It was our first time there as we were visiting from out of town and were expecting at least a tablecloth setting. Go for the food!!

    Wait staff was excellent. Ambiance was spectacular. The food was nothing special. Watermelon salad was fine but could of used a bit more greens and nuts. The main dish was dried out. The restaurant was not busy so not quite sure why took a long period of time for food to come out.

    Took over an hour for our food to be delivered. The seafood rice was an awful mushy mess of poor quality seafood. The scallops were outrageously salty. The oysters were good but when I asked what kind the waiter replyed "They're from canada, does it really matter". And when they are $4.50 an oyster... yes, it matters. One of the worst places ive ever been. And for 2 people with 2 entrées, the 6 oysters, and 1 coctail each, it was $250

    Fenomenal food and service as always! I love the ambience and location, I go to The Ritz South Beach several times a month. My only pointer is for the Sunday brunch. I think they should have a distinct price for non-drinkers. I drink so for me it doesn’t matter, but some of my friends don’t, so the price per person should be lower then the $95 fixed price.

    We are normal boring people who came to Miami just to relax by the pool/beach and eat good food. The food here was the best of the trip and the service was impeccable. Our server was so kind and helpful in food selection. This place is highly recommended!!

    This is one of our favorite brunch spots!! Managers are super friendly, Gustavo is our waiter and is always exceptional, drinks are great food is even better. Everything is fresh. The omelettes taste amazing compared to other brunch locations. They have fresh fruit, fresh smoothies, shrimp, muscles, clams, ceviche, scallops. They have some thing for everyone. They also have gluten-free bread which is a huge plus in South Florida. Can’t say enough good things about this place. Even though we live in Fort Lauderdale, it’s worth the drive
