The breakfast is usually very good. This time several items in the brunch buffet were cold and the syrup was very cold which is disappointing. When I asked the server, he said the syrup is set out from the refrigerator and rotated every couple of hours. That really takes away from the quality of the meal.

So this is a nice restaurant. However the value for your money is just not there. My soup was all broth for $10. it was not a bisque. My dinner partner’s food was totally on par. Overall I did enjoy myself but you have to understand that the value isn’t always there.

The main courses--salmon and lamb chops--were very good. But the vegetables were undercooked and the salad (Italian) disappointed. As did the sourdough boule. We had ordered the rustic bread before and found it excellent; the boule not so much.

The food quality was not at the same level as the Tysons location. Tysons offers more options such as a carving station and soft serve ice cream station. The corn bread was stale.

Our server Walter was a great server and had a great attitude! The food was good too but was not as hot as expected, more of a warm temperature but very fresh! The coffee was also subpar and not the best. Besides those two minor issues the experience was great and Walter was an excellent server!

Entree was cold, the jam served with the bread was left out for so long the top of it was harden. We received our entrees before our appetizer. Service was subpar. She did not use a pen/pad to write our order which caused a lot of mistakes. Check was also incorrect, was charged for more than what we ordered. Disappointed overall.

The turkey was really dry. I asked for extra gravy which didn’t make it to my table until I was finished eating. The table was very wobbly, and I had to hold onto the table when my son used his knife to cut his prime rib. They also add a 5% “wellness charge” to every check, which they say you can opt out. This should be the responsibility of the restaurant to provide its employees instead or directly accessing this charge to its clientele. I am sure few people opt out and make themselves look petty or selfish, and the restaurant owners know this.

Our family of five had Thanksgiving dinner at Founding Fathers in Reston. Frankly, the restaurant’s service was a total mess and the place seemed to be completely overmatched by the crowd. We ordered a bottle of wine to start, the waitress shows back up with the wine bottle and one glass, and gave us the "oh, others wanted wine too" when we asked for two more glasses. We had to ask several times for the non-alcoholic drinks for our younger family members. Nobody ever asked if they wanted a refill on the non-alcoholic drinks. When the appetizers showed up, the order was wrong. And our appetizer order included soup, but no spoons arrived with the bowls or were part of the silverware set on the table. It took 10 minutes for staff to get us spoons, all the while the soup was getting cold. 2 minutes after the soup spoons showed up and we could all eat those appetizers, the entrees showed up. None of us had finished our appetizers yet. The table was not large enough to hold both courses for five people but all of it was in the table none-the/less. One of the orders was missing the cranberry side included for Thanksgiving meals. The food itself was good, not great. The best protein was the salmon. The turkey was a bit dry. The ham was good with the highlight being the glaze. Sides were good, I particularly liked the cranberry. Deserts were good too. The total bill was just under $300 before tip. Yes, I tipped but not generously. Nothing about the experience was particularly good. And I regret entrusting Thanksgiving to this restaurant.

It was a poor management preparation for Thanksgiving dinner menu. They didn’t have enough staff for the holiday, utensils were dirty-nobody checked after wash. Clean plates were not washed fast enough to serve. We came at 6.15, ordered by 6.30, but some desserts were unavailable already. Salmon & whitefish were over cooked - too dried. We asked for 2nd round breads and were told it may not be available but it came at the end. Waitress was overworked and she couldn’t have time to give water as she ran around with too many tables. When desserts were served, we had to switch again because 1-2 pies were out. We were very disappointed to dine here. We made reservation 1 month in advance but the management couldn’t do a better job. Won’t come back to this location.

The waiter was the best I have ever had there. And it was Thanksgiving, so I expected the service to be not great. He was absolutely terrific. The food was also very good. Most especially the desserts.

I don’t think this restaurant should attempt Thanksgiving again - everything about the experience was pretty bad, but especially being seated in the “garden shed”, which seemed like a repurposed storage area, as opposed to the actual dining room. Would have been better to get a hamburger at the diner up the street.

The food was excellent in taste - but it was overly cold. The kitchen was turning out a high volume of Thanksgiving dinners and obviously does not have the trick down of every plate being properly warm. If this was the only meal I'd had here, I would not recommend given the price.

Went on Thanksgiving and was very disappointed. Bread was hard as a rock, soup was cold. The meal came and all the sides had a hard film on top like they were sitting under a heat lamp for a long time. Turkey did not come with gravy as described on the menu. Chicken was tough and dry and came with a tiny side of gravy with a hard film on top. Ordered banana cream pie, server came back and said they were out. Ordered key lime pie, the server returned and said they were out. This was a 4:30pm reservation. The only thing that was good were the cocktails. It was $160 for 2 people and we were essentially served cafeteria food. I was so embarrassed that I talked my husband into coming here instead of cooking at home. Never again.

The food was excellent and the service was great - except for the fact that we felt very rushed. Each course came before we were halfway through the first, along with the to-go boxes. I will definitely come back as I frequent FF often, but will place my orders more slowly to pace it better.

Had a great Thanksgiving meal. Turkey and the fixings were tasty. It was a great meal for adults, but not so great for s kid. This is what kept me from giving it a 5. Maybe for future you could consider something like Mac and cheese for the kids.

The food was excellent but our section was full of two-person tables that rocked and were completely imbalanced. That forced all of us to take the cheap approach of holding up the table while the other person cut their food. This was very tacky. We went for Thanksgiving and had pre-ordered the additional Take-Home dish for $75.00. We even called the day prior to ensure that everything would be ready. They assured us that everything would be ready and that our server would handle it. However, our server had no idea what we were talking about and eventually informed us (and others in the same boat) that the Take-Home dish was no longer available.

I realize they were busy because of the holiday but certain things are just basic. We were sat quickly but then waited 20 minutes for anyone to acknowledge our table. A staff member came over and proceeded to tell us he was not our server as she was busy, he chatted with us a bit then left saying he would bring us a bread board that was part of the holiday set menu. Ten minutes later a person placed the bread board on out table and left quickly. I asked for some plates for the so we could each have something to place our bread on in between bites. We were told there were no clean ones available. Our server finally showed up and apologized for the wait. She took our order and left. When our soup and salad showed up there was no spoon to eat the soup, the salad was extremely small compared to the others I saw. The rest of the meal was fine, and we enjoyed it. Then when we left the restaurant, I noticed there was soup in the bottom of my pants leg also on my wife's pants leg, I also found soup on my jacket sleeve and that was hanging on a hook on the other side of where I was sitting. I know I didn't spill any soup and neither did my wife, let alone sling it across the table and over a chair to get on my jacket.

The salad was quite boring. Had to wait for cranberry sauce which never made it to the plate. There wasn't enough gravy and the turkey was on the dry side. Coffee finally came after we ate the desert. Not sure we'd go back on a holiday. Our table was in a great location.

Thanksgiving Day set menu. We all had turkey. I'm sure the food was good when it was made, but my mashed potatoes were so cold and hard by the time I got them that my fork didn't even dent them on my first attempt. The top layer of everything on my plate was dry and looked pretty unappetizing. I didn't even realize I had green beans until I saw my husband eating his - my green beans were COMPLETELY covered in cranberry sauce, which for me, ruined them. I didn't complain because it was busy and the other plates at my table seemed okay, so I just ate everything anyway. Also, I would have appreciated the opportunity to customize the sides. I hate sweet potatoes. But I got one anyway. And everyone else of course had their own, so it was wasted. I also felt like the bread board was stingy. But overall, the food was good quality - I just wish it had been hot. Everyone agreed the stuffing was the best thing on the plate. But the real reason we won't be back is the parking-location situation. The construction in the area makes things confusing and off-putting, and my husband accidentally ended up on the toll road just trying to get into the parking garage. It was kind of a nightmare.

My family dined at your restaurant on Thanksgiving Day, we were disappointed. We dined at your restaurant two years ago, the food was great. Your servers always do a great job. This year we felt rushed. The food at best was warm not hot. Your kitchen appeared to be more concerned with how fast they could get the plates of food to the table. Your restaurant made a LOT of money and your servers had to make a lot in tips. We paid $45 per plate for warm fried chicken and turkey. The food lacked seasoning. You should demand more from your kitchen, I expect better. Until I feel that your restaurant has refocused more on quality, I won’t be back, and I won’t recommend it.

We dined here for special Thanksgiving menu. Sadly we were extremely disappointed in the food. Turkey was overcooked and all items lacked flavor. The bread tray was cold, the soup and entree was lukewarm when served. This was my first time dining here and will not go back.

We love their food, but their Thanksgiving menu was overpriced, and the food was overcooked and WAY over-seasoned. Good for everyday food but a big NO to their holiday spread.

Food was nothing special and service was ok. We waited 10-15m for someone to show up and take our order. No sharing plates for appetizer clearly meant to be shared by table and no milk/creamer offered for lukewarm coffee which had clearly been standing for a while. Place is looking tired and in need of refresh from every angle.

great place for brunch. didn't care for the "wellness charge" on the bill. i shouldn't have to pay for the company's health plan for its employees. charge me more for my meal and include the health plan in the cost of my brunch. don't make me feel like i'm a bad person for not supporting their employee health plan.

I have been here a few times and still make an effort to come back, when I'm in the area. The food is always great, the servers always have detailed answers to my questions, and the ambiance is nice as well. There is also good value, as the prices may seem high, but the portions are very generous, so most people will have leftovers after their meal.
