My wife and I went here on a date. My trout was amazing, something I had not eaten in quite some time. My wife had the turkey avacado sandwhich which was very dry.

Everyone in my group loved Founding Farmers. We had a nice table which was easy to talked with a group of 5. Our meals were very good but only warm. Would have liked them hotter. It was a perfect spot for a friend’s get together.

I am a frequent diner at founding farmers. The food is always excellent, the atmosphere is spot on and the service is very attentive.

Our server was very kind and did not bristle when we had a 30 minute timing snafu that held the table for 30 minutes longer based on miscommunication.

That being said the server made to faux pas. First server cleaned dishes and stacked them above two of our drinks. Second, on another round of cleaning except replaced dirty plates from another table on to ours before stacking our plates on top. Not the worst offenses but certainly something that should not happen at a restaurant that positions itself on the higher middle end.

Service was terrible.
Waited several minutes for someone to come. My guest ordered hot tea. It come out cold and very weak. No silverware. Asked for salt and pepper. And sweetener but it took several minutes. Asked for coffee after the meal and it arrived after I paid the check and we had our coats on.
Very baD client experience.

Overall very good. Had requested a booth and didn’t get that. Server was good but not great. He seemed busy. Table next to us had issues with their meal and same server. He never asked if we wanted another drink or dessert. The food once again was amazing !

I have eaten here a few times with family and friends and haven't really been disappointed with the food. I met a friend recently for drinks and dinner so I was able to try out one of their cocktails - the Strawberry Pisco Sour which I enjoyed. I ordered the Beef Short Rib Ragu. Overall, it was tasty but there were about 3 small pieces of short rib and the pasta (either rigatoni or tortiglioni) was really big - almost overwhelming the dish, in my opinion.

Went to the restaurant on a Sunday afternoon. Only option was brunch. The selection of food was mediocre at best. Half of the entrees were empty when we went through the line. Staff was busy talking and not replenishing the food. My husband ordered a bloody mary that was undrinkable. So much spice he actually choked on it. Ordered eggs benedict. Got an egg on an untoasted english muffin with raw spinach. We have eaten here before. Would not come back. It was totally disappointing. Each had one drink, brunch buffet and used the entire $100 gift card I received. Very disappointing!

I was so excited to try this place! I went with a small group of girls who had been to this location a few times before. The food was great and the service was stellar. We had a brightly lit table that was very cozy. We lingered for a long time and the waitstaff was very patient with us despite this. My only gripe: my fellow diners who had been here before were all disappointed based on their previous experiences at this location. They felt that the food selection was very much pared down at the breakfast buffet, as well as the passed small plates brought over by waitstaff. Knowing that we missed out on a lot of other choices, I was bummed about the price tag.

Went for Sunday brunch buffet. Eggs Benedict were overdone. Yolks were cooked through. Rest of the buffet options were good. Best items were pancakes, fried chicken, crab and artichoke dip, French toast. Would be nice if juice were part of buffet as well for those who don’t drink coffee/tea, especially children.

Came here first time with a friend for Sunday buffet. Nice quality and presentation of entrees at buffet, though I wasn’t very interested in trying meatloaf or chili at 9:30am. It would’ve been nice to have more breakfast options at that time. The initial service being seated and ordering buffet was prompt, but after that, we did not see our server, and had to ask for coffee refills and a fork. Also, found the constant interruption to sample their items (5 times during our meal) very annoying and disruptive. Overall, the atmosphere is lively and nice variety and quality of food. $30/per person was a little bit pricey. I would like to return and check out their downstairs cafe.

Great restaurant with a group of friends. My only issue is that you need to remove more of the crab shell before serving in the crab and shrimp risotto. Mine had a lot of shell left in the dish.

Fun for a Saturday night, crowded and buzzing. Server was friendly and attentive but young (asked what kind of vodka for my Manhattan— none! There is no vodka in the cocktail.) Had several appetizers for the table of the four of us — tuna bites, black pepper garlic wings — good. Entrees were steak frites for three of us, chicken for the fourth. Good, ample servings. Dessert was a sampling of the many donuts offered— donuts were fine but I wouldn’t order again, my mistake. All in all we were very satisfied. Not a gourmet experience but will return. Borderline expensive.

Great experience and great food when we have come here for dinner. Brunch is not worth it. Poor service. Waiyers with passed food forget tables. Slow kitchen items when there are only a handful to choose from anyway. Just don't think they have buffet brunch nailed and at that price some scrambled eggs and a few entree items aren't worth it. Go for dinner and enjoy the experience.

Our family (4 adults, 2 children) went their this past weekend for a family celebration. We were seated in a side room, due to the the original party canceling in that room. It was quiet but not much atmosphere.
The appetizers were good (crab dip, tuna and deviled eggs). Dinners were ok, not plated well and taste/flavor was just ok (salmon, crab cakes, fish, chicken). Craft drinks were good. Wine that we ordered came after we were all finished eating and the order wasn’t correct. Waiter was not very attentive. We ordered a cheese pizza for a younger family member; waiter knew it was for a younger child, but yet it came out covered in red pepper flakes. We tried getting waiters attention, but eventually just tried removing pepper our selves. Prices are very high compared to quality and service. Might be a better place for apps and drinks at the bar.

This was my 3rd visit and the 1st for breakfast. Our Server, Bobby, was just perfect....attentive enough without being overbearing and he kept the coffee and water refills coming. However, another service person never responded to a request for butter and jam and, while Bobby ordered my omelette without cheese, the chef included it so back to the kitchen it went. These are small things but based on my 2 previous experiences at dinner and lunch, I expected better. This may be me being picky, but the multigrain toast was shriveled. I expected something more robust based on buying bread at farmers markets and toasting at home. It's a destination for me since I traveled almost an hour and I'm happy to make the trip. Hopefully, next time will be better.

Two of three people were late and restaurant was very accommodating. Our server was fantastic! I wanted the butternut squash ravioli but sadly they ran out so I settled for a burger. I failed to read description and was disappointed to see mustard and special sauce on it. When I scraped it off, off came the cheese and the bun was also soggy. Server asked to redo it but I was hungry and didn’t want to wait but she did bring a new bun. My friend had the seafood risotto and she said it was bland. My other friend had the plant based burger and really liked it. I’ve had great meals in past so I’ll definitely return and try something else. Dessert was delicious. One bad meal won’t keep me from going again.

This was my second visit to Founding Farmers. The menu is creative; the food fresh and well prepared. I particularly like the scratch sodas. My only issue is inconsistent service. On one visit the service was terrific. The second visit it was very slow. There was a substantial wait to be seated, even with a relatively early reservation, and we actually had to hunt down our server to order our food. Recognizing it may have been an off night, I will definitely give it another try.
