Located in the lively, new King of Prussia Town Center, Founding Farmers KOP is a full-service restaurant and bar open seven days a week serving breakfast, lunch, dinner, and our Farmers Market Buffet Brunch on weekends. As a farmer-owned restaurant, almost all of our delicious food and drink – from our freshly baked bread and house-churned butter to our craft cocktails with our proprietary spirits – is made from scratch, using high-quality ingredients from American family farms. Our First Bake Cafe & Creamery located just downstairs will be serving light fare, coffees and scratch sodas, fresh baked breads, donuts and pastries, and our famous homemade ice cream, all available to go or for enjoyment at our counter or one of our cafe tables. We are excited to be making our way to Pennsylvania and hope our guests will enjoy all that is Founding Farmers.

On Saturday night, my husband, another couple and I dined here. It was a very busy Saturday night and that probably would explain the slower service. Had we not been talking, it might have been more of an issue. From the time we placed our order, to the time that we got our meal, it probably was 45 minutes. At one point, the manager came out and said our food should be coming out shortly and apologized for it taking so long. When my husband's swordfish came out, it wasn't correct and had to be sent back. He is allergic to cheese and there was cheese on the salad. It had melted onto the rice also. The fish wasn't swordfish, too. Unfortunately, it took another 10 minutes for his meal to come out. By the time it did come out, the rest of us were pretty much done with our meals. All of the food was delicious, though. My husband did mention that what was served with the swordfish wasn't jambalaya. It was primarily jambalaya flavored rice. There wasn't any andouille sausage or holy trinity in it. He said it was very flavorful but it was a little deceiving when he thought that was what he was getting. I enjoyed the short rib ragu over macaroni and the bacon lolli appetizer and cauliflower hummus appetizers were very tasty. The vegetarian meatloaf and prime rib were good too, according to my friends. It was a nice night out and the ambiance is really nice. We definitely will return.

The food was excellent. I had a pineapple/mint soda over crushed ice and it was so refreshing . The breadbasket selection was delish with a great assortment of delights. Potpie, steak, our entire meal was very good.

We were seated promptly at 9:30 pm....it took about 15 minutes for the waiter to come over to our table. I did notice some wait staff chatting nearby, while I was wondering when our server would be coming over. We noticed that a table of 6 seated after us, had their drink order taken before us. ( and we shared the same server!) We ordered app/entrees and 2 drinks...10 minutes later wrong drinks...... our app arrived.....our correct drinks arrived when we were done with our app....I noted the time 10:10
The runner who brought our entrees just put them down in front of us without saying a word...ie..”enjoy”
“Can we get you anything else?”
Food was good, but unfortunately the service ruined the night for me.I would have complained to the manager, but my husband didn’t want me to. DC venue so much better experience....hope becoming a chain restaurant “ didn’t lower the bar” for this group.

I knew something was off when we walked in. the entire staff seemed to be tense, stressed, and overall not so happy. in retrospect it was because they knew our experience would not be good. about 50 minutes after sitting and not getting even our appetizer our waitress told us that there was q large party and the kitchen was struggling to serve the party which was causing backup for everyone else. this was of the worst dining experiences. the waitress and mgr were nice enough but this seemed to be a systemic problem. not acceptable and reputation damaging.

It took forever for the food to come out - close to an hour. I can only hope they were having a bad night. Our server was pleasant enough, but there wasn't anything she could do about it. There were five of us, and the food was good, except I must say I was disappointed with my beer can roasted Chef Hemings' Chicken Jambalaya, which was basically quartered chicken over rice, and the chicken was a bit dry.

Very cool and comfortable setting. Met a friend for breakfast. Attentive and polite wait staff but ....
Had to ask for some of the items we ordered.
No butter or jelly served with toast.
Food was good and served hot.
Companions plate was cleared while I was still eating - not cool!

They weren't busy and we were not bothered while we stayed to chat after our meal. Tipped appropriately for the "rent" of the seat.

I'd go back and give it another try.

Steak/frites: Steak was salty and tough. Fries and green vegetables tasty but too salty.

Chicken jambalaya: implies a stew, which means chunks of chicken. But it came with a half chicken on the bone that I had to hack up to put chunks in the rice bowl. Delish, but should not have been on the bone, and menu should have warned customers.

Donuts were light and delish and only $2 for full size.

Waiter was excellent.

There relatively early (6:00) on a Monday, not over-crowded, waited far too long for meals to be brought out after ordering. I ordered "well done" burger, and even though it took long, burger was well undercooked - left half on plate. Did not want to send it back after I was a few bites into it because my family already waited long enough, and they were enjoying their meals.
Manager took my burger off the bill - was thankful for that - but meal and time there was already ruined for me. With many other choices in that area, doubtful that I may be back.

Michael, I am very sorry to read that your experience with us on Monday fell short, and your meal & timeliness of our service were both lacking. :( Of course, I am relieved to read that our Manager working properly removed the burger that was not properly cooked from your bill. That said, we do hope to have you back for another try soon and please call us at (484) 808-4008 for any reservation help needed. -Amy

The presentation and quality of the appetizers and main dishes was excellent. We all enjoyed our choices. The one criticism we had was of the espresso - two people ordered and both servings were lukewarm at best to cold.

We made a lunch reservation for a birthday and didn't realize brunch service would still be in effect. Honestly, we didn't even know they served brunch. Founding Farmers offers a nice, albeit small variety of options. On the day we visited, they were struggling to keep the buffet filled. So many dishes were down to their last serving or completely empty at each of my visits to the buffet line. The space could also be improved. Their perimeter seating was nice, but the brunch is set up in the center, with little room to wrap the line of patrons waiting to serve themselves. Apparently the fried chicken is a big hit, but unfortunately it's not a favorite of my family. We should have researched the timing more before our selection. I have had much better brunches. Hopefully we can return for regular sit-down menu service and to understand what the restaurant offers and see if our rating can improve.

Our reservation was for 7PM and we waited about 20 minutes, the front desk seemed disorganized. The meal wasn't paced right either. We were served appetizers right away; but then a long gap between that and the meal. You have to buy the bread there, and I thought the amount of bread in the basket for 7 people was subpar. Ironically, one of our dinners came with a loaf of bread; that seemed excessive. Ironic. Overall, the menu has a lot for people to choose from and satisfied the wide variety of tastes in our group; from vegetarians to meat eaters. I try hard not to get caught up only on the operations of a place. The setting is nice and the dinner was fun.

Had no idea the buffet was the only option before 2pm on A Saturday. Almost no healthy options, and easy overpriced for the value, especially with kids in tow. I feel this should have been made clear either when making the reservation, or when the restaurant called me to confirm. I would have changed our plans had I known. Now it just makes me not want to go back.

Daylesford, I am SO sorry to know that our buffet option threw you for a loop and was unexpected. Our team does our very best to ensure our guests know about the buffet service with the menu uploaded to our website and a confirmation email that is automatically sent with details of the buffet times when a reservation is made on OpenTable. This said, I am extremely let down that our attempts failed and we will look into making improvements with our means of communication & confirmation. -Amy

I had family in town and they were able to accommodate our party of 6 with one high chair which was set up when we arrived for our reservation. The brunch is amazing! So much food to choose from it’s almost overwhelming. There was also food being passed out which was delicious as well! Our server Daryl was very attentive, he was able to anticipate our needs and kept our coffees flowing! My family loved the whole experience and we definitely left stuffed. I would recommend brunch to anyone!
