We went for the pre-fixed Thanksgiving dinner. We were seated near the kitchen. The wait staff were constantly brushing against my back when going back and forth. I did not mind. Our server was sweet and excellent. Brussels sprout appetizer was too firm (hard) and salty. Not crispy, although that’s what it was called. The shared salad had a dressing that was too strong. The main course of Branzino was good and the fish was fresh. But the sides that came with it were below average. Overall a very average experience.

We were seated 45 minutes after our reservation for Thanksgiving. The host gave us some wine on the house because of the delay, which was an appropriate acknowledgement we were appreciated for. But the food was so disappointing, especially for $150 per person. The brussel sprouts were half roasted and half raw. The meatballs were extremely salty to the point that all three of us could not eat them after the first bite. My friend said, “These are repulsive.” The stuffing was so black and burnt on the bottom that we couldn’t cut through it. The turkey and gravy were ok and the carrot soup and beet salad were good. The squash pie dessert was enjoyable, but the apple “pie” was a cold mix of shredded apples and undercooked a mushy, undercooked crumble. It wasn’t enough, though. I was embarrassed because dining at Fork on Thanksgiving was my idea and it was so disappointing. Maybe even a little gross. We did mention to service staff that the meatballs were inedible, but we didn’t bother complaining about all the other elements of the meal. It was so late at that point and we were exhausted and wanted to go home.

Fork couldn’t have been more exceptional! We went for thanksgiving and we were cared for with the care you would give to someone you loved! Everyone was happy to be there with us, we were kind and the lovely waiter (and waitresses) reciprocated. The wines with the prix fixe were exceptional. My mom said this is the best meal, and best experience, that she’s ever had!! This is a lovely restaurant to share a meal, worth the money and more! 🥰

Expensive overall. Should have all ordered hamburgers. 20% tip is part of each meal ordered. Didn’t walk away thinking what a great food experience. Tired of overrated over priced underwhelming restaurants.

Excellent French omelette and pastry for a Sunday brunch The ambiance is chic and upbeat and service was fine except I was annoyed to do my own pepper mill! Waitress was tentative and could have described the menu more confidently The space is lovely but booth benches somewhat uncomfortable- ? Why not have softer cushioned ones rather than plain wood Thoroughly enjoyed the food on all levels with consensus from my foodie friends

Very good: unusual fare, limited menu but well presented and tasty. The place is a bit pleased with itself and how chic it is. Signage is poor…name is way above eye level and we walked past it!

A “fancy” menu printed in tiny letters and outrageous prices. None of the plates the four of us ordered could be considered gourmet. Fluke fish was really tiny. The carrot soup was Ok. The fish (stripe bass) was tasteless and cool. The wine ($75.00) was a low quality Nebbiolo, and the lowest priced in the wine list. Why would people spend over $100.00/person on that restaurant makes no sense to me. Will not repeat.

Had great experiences in the past, but restaurant has gone down lately. Super noisy, waited over 20 mns to get a table, menu was small and lacked varied selections. Good service but they could have at least offered us a free glass/cocktail for waiting over 20 mns past our reservation. Won’t be back and won’t recommend it anymore…

We had not been to Fork for a long time but we will definitely be back! The food was excellent - very flavorful and beautifully presented. Service was attentive and helpful but not pushy. We were there for lunch and there were a lot of good options on the menu.

Especially good burgers and fries, delicious "share" appetizer-except that 3 pieces of bread were provided for a table of 4! A 4th was provided upon request but odd not to have been included initially. Waiter was mostly helpful, gracious about trying wines before deciding. Noisy space, energetic atmosphere. Didn't appreciate tip being pre-added even though we would have done so at that level.

A great restaurant, don't miss it. Very friendly staff and fabulous food. We loved everything we ate. Good recommendations on wine had us trying wine we wouldn't normally drink and enjoying it. If we lived in Philly we would be regulars. Make a reservation asap!

Limited menu as to what is available from farm venders. Enough different choices to satisfy most pallets. Absolutely delicious, fresh and perfect presentation. Service was top notch with multiple wait staff to take care of your needs. Courses arrived nicely paced. A most enjoyable experience.

This is an extremely popular restaurant, and I booked a special occasion dinner with high expectations, which sadly, were not met. On the plus side, Fork has impeccable service. The waitstaff is lovely, and nothing is too much trouble. The decor is well-conceived. The space is cozy. The minuses, however, far outweigh the positives. The noise level is out of control, making for an unpleasant evening of shouting and struggling to be heard over the din. Most important, however, the experience of the food at Fork was a lot of hype that was utterly lacking in the promised depth of flavor. Foods didn’t taste fresh, or tangy, or herby, or interesting, just either peppery or bland. The prep on the vegetables was poorly executed, particularly the dish of kale stems with the barest hint of leaves I received accompanied by a few rough cut slices of squash. The effect overall of what the kitchen produced didn’t look deliberately rustic, nor did it look sophisticated. To be fair, the desserts were quite tasty, particularly the coconut custard which clearly had time, attention, and thought behind the preparation. The chocolate mousse was nice, but again, the presentation from the kitchen was sloppy, just dumped in a bowl with no artfulness whatsoever. The food just didn’t match the flourish with which it was presented at the table, or the promise of the PR hype surrounding this place.
